Great hotel we found on the gonorthcyprus website. I travelled with my wife, we got a good deal from Gary at GNC and he arranged our transfers too, so we could relax before we even left. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and throughout the trip. We had a comfortable room, a decent size and with all the necessary modcons. We went in the first week of November for two weeks and the weather was as warm as we wanted it at around 25 every day.The hotel is superbly located and definitely has enough facilities to be a 5 star.ok so there's no coffee making facilities in the room but at the lounge bar it's less than a pound so they are hardly profiteering.they give you free water in the room every day in the minivan which we found ok for us and it's more healthy changes or coffee so stop moaning about that.The food was excellent... more

Hi we stayed at the Acapulco first 2 weeks in September we where in pine court 2 a lovely room the only complaint was there was no kettle to make a drink. The restaurant was very crowded the food was not to our taste as it caters for Turkish tastes ,that being said it was all of a good standard. I thought the lack of bacon or pork sausage was because it was Muslim and accepted this. We've just returned from a holiday at Acapulco Beach Club Hotel, which we booked through gonorthcyprus. We stayed half board and really enjoyed our break. Members of staff are friendly and helpful and the beach is very well kept. The food is well cooked and reasonably varied but it's wise to get there early to avoid the buffet rush. I wanted to take my wife away for our 20th wedding anniversary and we'd never been to this part of Cyprus before, I found the gonorthcyprus website and was really impressed by the Acapulco Hotel reviews. If it's five-star luxury you're after, this is the place. True enough, when we arrived we found the hotel just as impressive in the flesh, the rooms are great, everywhere is clean and pleasantly decorated. My wife and I stayed at the Acapulco for a week, booked by agent gonorthcyprus, and we had a wonderful experience. It's a fantastic resort, clean throughout and staff are both friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room the only niggle was not having tea and coffee making facilities. The meals were delicious and we loved the fantastic views out over the bay. We stayed at the Acapulco Beach Club in the school summer holidays after booking with GoNorthCyprus and it really is a great place for the whole family. As ever we booked through Go North Cyprus , always a font of local knowledge, I trusted the recommendation for the Acapulco and found it had everything we needed , Childrens club , good food a new water park and funfair. Just returned from a nice and relaxing stay at Acapulco Beach. We were aware that there would be building works at the time we travelled but decided to go anyway, as GoNorthCyprus got us such a good deal. We stayed in the bungalows with our 2 children, kept very clean in a cottage style with a TV but no kettle, it was spacious and provided separate bedrooms.The facilities on site were brilliant especially for the kids, the pools are spotlessly clean.We were on the full board plus package, the food, well the sheer variety was something to be seen, it was well cooked and plentiful. Good quality accommodation in new Pine Court building with its own bar and terrace area. Lovely private beach and pools (but pools too cold to use in April). The place was probably three-quarters empty at that time of year so we can't vouch for high season. £8 or thereabouts for a taxi for four to Kyrenia. We came to Kyrenia for a family holiday and really enjoyed our time at the Acapulco Beach Club Hotel, which we booked through Go North Cyprus. This hotel is fantastic, the Spa and food are fantastic, the accommodation is really well done throughout, with comfortable beds. We will definetly be coming back in the Summer for a longer stay and when all the facilities are open. If your British like me though don't expect sausage, bacon, hash browns, etc., as we expect it! Stayed for 10 nights and could not have wished for friendlier or more polite staff . Just spent a week h/b at this hotel really enjoyed it nearly everything was perfect the only thing I really missed was some varied evening entertainment on the patio . The duo they did have good voices but every night is got boring . Acapulco is a good place to stay and we knew because this was our third time. Previous visits took place in April and October and that was for us a better time. We had a fantastic stay. Food good. Pool brilliant, pool bar very good. Beach just great, lots of sun loungers for all every where. Stayed at the hotel late August and had an amazing time!!! Plenty of activities and space for guests, great pool and the flumes kept us all entertained :) great size rooms cleaned every day and very helpful staff... We stayed for 6 days here, using it as a base to come and go to other places.Breakfast was a let down for us, they only fruit available was melon and old oranges! Overall this was a relaxing holiday in nice surroundings. On the whole the overall site which is extensive was pleasing and well maintained. We stayed in a bungalow so cannot comment or compare to hotel rooms...it was adequate...clean and serviced regularly. Lacking in cupboard and storage space particularly if we had been more than family of three or staying beyond a week. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were welcomed at reception with a lovely room upgrade....Merry Christmas . The room was spacious, very comfortable bed, good size bathroom with masses of toiletries, including, toothbrushes and paste and razors, excellent. Wardrobe space good with lots of hangers! We stayed in a bungalow, which was quite spacious. The room was cleaned daily and bedding changed regularly, towels changed when requested. The complex is well maintained and kept looking tidy. Towels are available for the beach and pool, included in your booking, and there are plenty of sun beds to use. Some areas warranted the 5 star status such as the service. There were areas around the pool that needed attention and in our bathroom. Nothing spoiled our holiday. Where do I start? My wife and I hadn't visited North Cyprus since 1996, things had changed quite a bit. This hotel is very clean and very well run. It has excellent facilities with a massive pool and is 10 yards from the beach. Good number of sun loungers and umberellas, no need to do the early morning towel thing! Arrived late on 19th. Room looked like it had been used as only 1 bath towel and no bath or basin plugs. Bed covers looked like someone had been lying/sitting on them. Didn't complain as too late and tired. The following day towels sorted but still no plugs. The Pine Court apartments were modern and clean, and the all-inclusive food buffet was interesting enough to keep our interest for 3 days (although if we had stayed longer, we would have possibly felt differently). Myself and two if my friends had a mini break which was amazing. The room easily accomadated the three of u and we had an amazing sea view. We have just returned from the Acapulco Beach Club after a fabulous weeks stay. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, pool was great, beach lovely, hotel clean and modern, weather perfect - we will certainly be re-booking for next October! There is, however, nowhere within walking distance, so once you are there you have to rely on the frequent hotel bus service to go into Kyrenia or taxis - which were very good value.... more
This was our second visit, rooms in the palm court part of the hotel are very nice. Weather and beach were great. We hired a car, so got about a bit. Breakfast was great, the food selection for dinner was very good, my partner is a vegetarian and had no problem having a nice dinner. I stayed for 4 days with wife and 2 boys age 6 and 4 and we all had a great time. Don't book the villa/bungalows as these are very dull and doesn't feel 5 star, on the other hand the hotel rooms are definitely 5 star! The restaurant is amazing as well as all the food. The hotel was fantastic, however, we chose to stay in a bungalow which was a big mistake! It was like entering the black hole of Calcutta - dark, dingy, dirty and in need of a serious make-over. We feel as though there is a chance that this could be a great place to stay in Northern Cyprus, but there are a number of things that would have to change in order for that to be the case completely. The first thing is the fact that you are charged to use certain things in your room, for example if you would like to access the internet. We've stayed there for three days in the beginning of April. The weather wasn't great, so only used indoor pool. Nice sandy beach. Good food, good service. The room was OK. The rooms are clean, hotel has a nice beach and resort, but most of the facilities such as outdoor pool, aqua park and night club was closed during our stay, since they claim it is not summer yet. The personal are nice and friendly. But they will charge you for everything basically. Although dinner was included in our booking, we have to pay for the water or any soft drink separately. Stayed for a week at this hotel, the last week in October. Unfortunately we did not know this was a local religious festival and therefore the hotel was packed. We enjoyed a 10 day stay at the Acapulco at the end of October. The first weekend we were there was absolutely manic, due to Bayram, a local festival. This meant that the lobby area resembled a luggage store most days, with people arriving and departing and meals were awful. Hotel is very big and on quite a steep slope - not for the unfit.Sun loungers are the best ever on the lawn area but some of the pool towels are no bigger than a hand towel so it's either sit on it or lean back on it - you can't cover both!Meals were very repetitive although there were plenty of salad. This is a great hotel and complex particularly for children. We had a great time and the food was really good. We have just returned from a 10 days stay at the Acapulco Beach Hotel in Kyrenia. We had a wonderful , relaxing holiday, superb food and friendly staff. The children loved the swimming pools and slides. There is also a theme park that opens each evening for children. The surrounding area is lovely. We are a family of 3 (our daughter is 1 years old), we stayed at this hotel for 9 nights and we loved every minute of it. I class myself as a bit of a "spa junkie" and I have got to report that the Hamman in this hotel is 5 star plus!! I tried a few other treatments and they were great aswell. I booked this so called 5 star hotel from internet for 3 nights full board in late December with my wife and 4 years old daughter. The hotel is advertised as 5 star. However, generally it looks like a 4 star hotel. The day we checked in, the bathtub did not have a plug. So we had to ask for it. The bathtub shower splash shields had black mold at various places. Every body from the cleaners up to the executive chef work to the highest standards all being overseen by Denise who is an asset to this company. There are a well tended garden, a private beach 700 meter working lenght that gently disrate into clean sea.(An ideal place for no swimming people). This resort has seen better days, the gardens are awful, the pathways are broken and dangerous. The accommodation is poor and shabby. We've stayed at the Acapulco twice, both times we had a bungalow set in the pretty grounds which was very spacious and clean. My one problem with the bungalows is that it is not possible to sit outside (no balcony/outside space) and there was no where to dry wet towels or swimsuits. Stanley and I visited the Acapulco hotel in November to find a delightful location in North Cyprus. As a Mediterranean location the temperatures were much warmer than our Bath homeland. While the temperatures were not conducive to beach bathing or swimming they were wonderful for little walks along the sand. My husband and I found many evenings to watch the sunsets on the beach. All things considered, I would not recommend this hotel. Sure, the beach is nice, but you pay an exorbitant price for a bottle of water. All of the drinks in the complex are too expensive, and they don't let you bring in your own drinks from outside the hotel. The Acapulco was a great choice for our family holiday. Cyprus is always reliable with the weather, with lots of sun! The hotel has an absolutely massive pool, with slides for the kids (ok, so maybe the adults enjoyed them too).
