Great hotel we found on the gonorthcyprus website. I travelled with my wife, we got a good deal from Gary at GNC and he arranged our transfers too, so we could relax before we even left. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and throughout the trip. We had a comfortable room, a decent size and with all the necessary modcons. We stayed in the newer block and had superb sea views. Really liked the food, great flavours and a fantastic choice. There are several pools at the hotel... more

We went in the first week of November for two weeks and the weather was as warm as we wanted it at around 25 every day.The hotel is superbly located and definitely has enough facilities to be a 5 star.ok so there's no coffee making facilities in the room but at the lounge bar it's less than a pound so they are hardly profiteering.they give you free water in the room every day in the minivan which we found ok for us and it's more healthy changes or coffee so stop moaning about that. The food was excellent... more

My friends have been raving about North Cyprus for ages , It was they that put me onto Go North who in turn suggested the Acapulco, we were lucky to be given rooms in the new Pine Court with Interconnecting door to the kids room next door , The Hotel is a large resort hotel , for us it was a bonus as plenty going on for the children and many friendships made, we were able to visit the Spa knowing that they were looked after by the childrens club.normally fussy eaters the children loved the food... more

Hi we stayed at the Acapulco first 2 weeks in September we where in pine court 2 a lovely room the only complaint was there was no kettle to make a drink. The restaurant was very crowded the food was not to our taste as it caters for Turkish tastes ,that being said it was all of a good standard. I thought the lack of bacon or pork sausage was because it was Muslim and accepted this. Then we found out there were other restaurants on the site that made English breakfast but you had to pay for it... more

We've just returned from a holiday at Acapulco Beach Club Hotel, which we booked through gonorthcyprus. We stayed half board and really enjoyed our break. Members of staff are friendly and helpful and the beach is very well kept. The food is well cooked and reasonably varied but it's wise to get there early to avoid the buffet rush. Or try the Sea Side bar for a more relaxed meal. Our room was spacious and kept very clean, we also had a lovely sea view. The pools are wonderful and although we haven't... more

I wanted to take my wife away for our 20th wedding anniversary and we'd never been to this part of Cyprus before, I found the gonorthcyprus website and was really impressed by the Acapulco Hotel reviews. If it's five-star luxury you're after, this is the place. True enough, when we arrived we found the hotel just as impressive in the flesh, the rooms are great, everywhere is clean and pleasantly decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful, even the cleaning ladies were polite and always smiling.... more

My wife and I stayed at the Acapulco for a week, booked by agent gonorthcyprus, and we had a wonderful experience. It's a fantastic resort, clean throughout and staff are both friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room the only niggle was not having tea and coffee making facilities. The meals were delicious and we loved the fantastic views out over the bay. There's also a waterpark that looks great for kids, we didn't give it a try, being in our 60s! A shuttle bus runs by the hotel fairly frequently... more

We stayed at the Acapulco Beach Club in the school summer holidays after booking with GoNorthCyprus and it really is a great place for the whole family. The hotel is clean and spacious with friendly staff, the rooms are equally well kept and equipped for visitors. It is in a fairly isolated location though so the shuttle bus into kyrenia was handy for visiting old haunts like the castle and shipwreck museum . we were very fortunate to watch Turtles nesting at Turtle beach one night ( 5 mins in a taxi from the hotel ),all in all ,a lovely... more

Just returned from a nice and relaxing stay at Acapulco Beach. We were aware that there would be building works at the time we travelled but decided to go anyway, as GoNorthCyprus got us such a good deal. We found the ladies on reception very friendly and our room clean and comfortable, although a sea view would have been nice. Good quality accommodation in new Pine Court building with its own bar and terrace area. Lovely private beach and pools (but pools too cold to use in April). The place was probably three-quarters empty at that time of year so we can't vouch for high season. £8 or thereabouts for a taxi for four to Kyrenia. We feel as though there is a chance that this could be a great place to stay in Northern Cyprus, but there are a number of things that would have to change in order for that to be the case completely. The first thing is the fact that you are charged to use certain things in your room, for example if you would like to access the internet. This is something that is available for free in a lot of places now, and this hotel would do well to try and compete with that. However, the rooms are quite nice,... more

I booked this so called 5 star hotel from internet for 3 nights full board in late December with my wife and 4 years old daughter. The hotel is advertised as 5 star. However, generally it looks like a 4 star hotel. The day we checked in, the bathtub did not have a plug. So we had to ask for it. The bathtub shower splash shields had black mold at various places. The condition of the bathroom is the type you would not expect from a 5 star hotel. The indoor swimming pool wall paint and render was falling... more

I've never been to Cyprus, and friends were surprised that I'd chosen Northern Cyprus. I stayed at the Acapulco Beach Club Hotel. I travelled to North Cyprus in August. The weather was still warm for sunbathing and a little swimming. My stay at the Acapulco Hotel was enjoyable in all areas. I was given a hotel with a view of the sea. It would have been nice to see the mountains from my room, but that was not possible. I was able to enjoy the mountains from the pool area. The pool was laid out well with plenty of loungers, and drinks were available. The hotel was full of a variety of guests from children, students, and... more

Just returned from a two week family holiday in Kyrenia where we had a really great time. It was quite hot for the children, aged 6 and 4, being August, and as it was quite busy around the pool but there was plenty of shade. The aquapark was a great feature of the resort and all the children loved the chutes and slides. The beach was close by and the children enjoyed playing in the sand and cooling off in the shallow clear water. I can also recommend the kids club activities run by the hotel. The... more

Had an an awesome time at the Acapulco with my friend Sal. best part is the beach - big, loads of sunbeds, really hot weather, warm sea, and a bar, right next to the hotel - brill! pool is big with waterslides, but lots of kids, so we stuck to the beach most of the time.Breakfast good and served for ages so you didn't have to get up early. Its a big hotel, so dinner took ages to come some nights, but it was really nice and tasty. drinks costs a lot, and we were really p****d off when a security... more

The Acapulco was a great choice for our family holiday. Cyprus is always reliable with the weather, with lots of sun! The hotel has an absolutely massive pool, with slides for the kids (ok, so maybe the adults enjoyed them too). The area around the pool was always clean and well maintained while we were there, and there seemed to be the right number of sunbeds for everyone. In case the pool isn't enough, the hotel has a private beach too, which is nicer than a lot of the stony beaches in Cyprus.... more

The great thing about this Hotel is that it was right on the Beach with its own private cove. The weather in late May was just perfect, sunny and warm. We spent most days sunbathing and relaxing by one of the pools. The hotel is a few miles from Kyrenia, but there is a hotel shuttle bus which was very convenient when you want to go shopping.I was really impressed with the facilities at this resort – tennis, volleyball, basketball, fitness centre, Jacuzzi, Turkish baths (you must try!) and a great... more

I wasn't sure if the Acapulco Resort Hotel would be the best place for a May holiday, but I was wrong! The beach is lovely and the weather was warm enough to sit out and just read, or look at the scenery - very relaxing. The swimming pool is impressive but with that lovely beach I couldn't see the point of it much! The resort was not full so you always could find a space to sit and relax - not sure that would happen at the height of the summer? The restaurant food was nice in the hotel, and the... more
