Lovely seafront hotel, we stayed for a week and felt very relaxed. Our room was large and well equipped with coffee making facilities. During our stay it was cleaned regularly and wifi connectivity was surprisingly good in the room. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful, they were attentive to guests' requests and very polite. Great swimming pool and the food was good, plenty of choice at breakfast. Lots of green space, trees and flowers in the gardens and the beach is very easy to access.... more
Merit Cyprus Gardens is by far the best hotel we've stayed at in the north of the country, of the three times we've visited the region. We booked through gonorthcyprus for a week away and have returned feeling very impressed. The staff and service are outstanding. Our room was clean and tidy, perhaps a litlte outdated but comfortable and pleasant. The food is varied and delicious and the location is excellent with a lovely sandy beach that is always well kept. Great bar area and general laidback... more
I took my wife away for a week through gonorthcyprus, we stayed at the Merit Cyprus Gardens to make the most of the beautiful weather. Hotel is pleasant and peaceful, we had a very clean and well appointed room and found the staff to be friendly and approachable. Toiletries and bottled water in the room that were replenished regularly and air con was efficient. The food was very good and lots of it, nice terrace area for al fresco dining. Good sized pool and very nice small but private beach area... more
Very nice break booked with gonorthcyprus at a good price. I stayed for a week with my wife, we had a relaxing time and found the hotel clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient, happy to answer questions and deal with any issues. Restaurant nice with good food and some local cats to stroke if you sit outside! Good choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner, lots of Turkish dishes to try but also chips! Good sized pool with plenty of loungers and music that wasn't over the top and... more
Just returned from our break at Merit Cyprus Gardens, booked through Gary at gonorthcyprus.com. Really delighted with our holiday - what a place! From the outside, at a distance, the hotel looks like a traditional Cypriot building, then as you get nearer you notice pops of colour and once inside, well, it's full of rainbow shades, really cheerful and pretty. We were shown to our room, which was spacious and very clean. It was comfortable and had the benefit of a balcony. Towels were changed daily... more
We'd been to the Famagusta region before but out first choice of Hotel was full for our dates , friends suggested that we try Go North Cyprus , just glad that we did , Lady that I spoke to Mandy , recommended the Hotel straightaway, Though a bit of an older style hotel , It was perfectly fine, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the food and drink almost endless and unlike other all Inclusive Hotels it was relaxed ( without the usual mass hoards for half term), The beach is a little narrow but... more
I have just returned from the best holiday I've ever had! My mum booked a stay at the Merit Cyprus Gardens in the Famagusta area of Kyrenia. We've never been to Cyprus before but will certainly come again and again, especially as Famagusta is so authentic- we hardly bumped into any tourists. My mum booked the stay with www.gonorthcyprus, who were recommended to us by my godmother. She's always booked through them as they take the stress away from finding deals on accommodation and flights and they're... more
We were looking for a family holiday in Famagusta and Mandy at GoNorthCyprus found this gem of a hotel for us. She got us a great deal and we were very happy to book straight away. The hotel is very traditional-looking from the outside but modern inside with loads of facilities and lovely clean and spacious rooms. There's tons of choice at breakfast and plenty of activities to choose from, we all went on a pony trek along the hotel's private beach, which was wonderful. There's a fabulous swimming... more
