The Location north cyprus for the sun seeker (us) was perfect, Acapulco Spa resort : location perfect food variety good, but the 5* as stated has not come to 5* standard. for example the main hotel building : the room view spot on, but the room we were allocated was noisey in the evening and not enough room to really move about- would have been ok but we came for sun and quite location. When conplaint to the staff, they were very helpfull and located us into new building 'Pine Grove' 5th floor, This was more our type - quite and relaxing - but again as for 5* it was not - I have stayed in many a five star hotels which include Tea making/iron and iron board/safe(free of charge just the initial deposite)/Tissues to wipe face.

The most important gripe was that the cost of drinks were very high and you were not allowed to buy it outside the hotel(the other local hotels were charging 25 to 30 lira where as this resort was charging 35 to 45 lira same wine. The poolbar food expensive the plate of chips 10 lira, The Lobby bar could do with more staff towards the weekend -the staff excellent very attentive.

This hotel is mostly used by Turkish people who come for a short break.

They are also set in not changing the eating arrangement for example 5 of us (all adults) had booked half board and we would have like to have swapped some meals for lunch so we could either take a drive and find new restaurant to try out different variety.

All this could be rectified if only the owmer/management could be more flexible in listening to their comments and addressing them.

Otherwise really good location, very helpfull staff,and overall clean hotel - would do it again if above things iron out.

Liked — loved the 'Pine grove for its quiteness/friendly staff/location.
Disliked — the price of drinks and food at the poolbar.
