We loved the look of Kyrenia Palace Boutique Hotel when we found it on gonorthcyprus.com. Stayed for a week in a lovely clean room in a beautiful building not far from the old port. Ideal secluded spot for couples on a relaxed getaway. Small menu of exceptionally cooked dishes, we really loved the food and the romantic ambience of the restaurant. My wife and I found Kyenia Palace Boutique Hotel through the gonorthcyprus website and we booked a week away with them at a great price, including transfers. We were very much taken with the old building, which is in a great spot but tucked away and quite secluded, so nice and quiet. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are attentive and friendly. We found Kyrenia Palace Boutique Hotel on the gonorthcyprus website and fell in love with its characterful appearance. It's authentic looking and we loved the high ceilings and antique furniture. The location is ideal, right by the harbour, just be aware that there is a mosque nearby and you will notice the call to prayer if you're a light sleeper. We found Kyrenia Palace by chance when browsing the net, the GoNorthCyprus website came up and we fell in love with the hotel instantly! It's just a stone's throw away from the harbour, which seemed ideal for getting around, and we loved the rustic appearance of the place. When we saw the Kyrenia Palace on the gonorthcyprus website I must admit we were smitten - never seen anything else like it in the area so we booked at once. Just charming, so old-fashioned and traditional to look at and in a fantastic spot by the harbour, this hotel has everything going for it. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated in the traditional style, as is the rest of the hotel, with ornate old furniture. We were taken with Kyrenia Palace as soon as we saw the hotel on the gonorthcyprus website, it looked so full of character we just had to book. When we arrived we were made to feel welcome and given a gorgeous room, quite rustic in style and very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and the whole hotel is kept clean and tidy. If you're looking for the wow factor, Kyrenia Palace is the place for you! It was certainly the place for us, we absolutely loved how the hotel looked on the gonorthcyprus website so booked a week's stay and have just got back. It is just as beautiful in person, with really striking rooms, beautifully traditional with antiques dotted around and a lovely courtyard. We stayed at the Kyrenia Palace Hotel for three nights in June having noted how lovely it looked - retaining the character of this old building with style and quirkiness. Positioned just 126 steps from the harbour it sits in a back street next to the town's main mosque which adds to its character. The place is full of interesting furniture and artefacts in keeping with the building. Rooms are full of character, many with balconies. Absolute luxury, rustic charm and grandeur are the best ways to describe this hidden gem of a hotel. The Kyrenia Palace Boutique Hotel really does have the wow factor, we booked our break here through GoNorthCyprus on their recommendation and the hotel has left us with some beautiful memories. The location is perfect, right next to Kyrenia Castle, and the building itself is traditionally beautiful and furnished elegantly - it's like stepping back in time but with all the mod-cons of modern life.... more
I've just returned from Kyrenia with my husband after he booked a surprise holiday for my birthday. I can honestly say that I have never stayed anywhere with more character and good feeling than the Kyrenia Palace Boutique. For most package holidays, a hotel is a clean and comfortable place to sleep after spending busy days enjoying the area. The Kyrenia Palace was so much more than this.
