This was our second visit to Hideaway Club Hotel with gonorthcyprus and we enjoyed it thoroughly, just like the first time we visited. The staff really make the place it must be said, they are so warm and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble and they are extremely hardworking. The hotel is well maintained, we had a nice room that was kept clean and tidy. Pool area is also very clean and welcoming although still a bit chilly to use, maybe next time! This was our first trip to the Hideaway Club Hotel, which we booked through gonorthcyprus.com. We were made to feel right at home by the staff on arrival and then throughout the rest of the week too, which was lovely. We had a nice villa room that was comfortable and well maintained. I decided to take my husband away for our anniversary and the Hideaway Club seemed ideal. We found the hotel on the GoNorthCyprus website and booked through Gary in sales. He was very friendly, helpful and even arranged our transfers. We got a good value deal and arrived to some special touches, like wine in our room, which was lovely. We took a much-needed getaway here, booking with gonorthcyprus. We'd never been to northern Cyprus before but discovered it to be a beautiful place with very welcoming residents. We took our little girl to the Hideaway Club recently for an out of season break after reading the reviews on the gonorthcyprus website. We were very impressed so booked straight away and Mandy in bookings was very helpful and even organised our transfers. We had a lovely cottage, very bright and airy and spotlessly clean. The Hideaway Club Hotel is exactly what it says on the tin. It is a great place to let you escape all the stresses of home life and really hideaway for a week or two. The great relaxed atmosphere and hospitality meant everything felt very peaceful here, and we were even given a fresh cold lemon drink every morning by the pool and iced towels in the afternoon to cool us down. A delight to find a hotel that focused on Adults, where nothing was too much trouble, I'd read about the hotel on Tripadvisor and called Go North who offered the best price along with a great choice of flights, another company that we called couldn't accommodate our need to fly from 2 different airports in the UK , but it was no problem for them .We stayed in a Sea View cottage and enjoyed 10 days of bliss without children running round (We're both teachers ! ) . We travel to Kyrenia for short breaks 3 or 4 times a year and this is our 8th stay at The Hideaway Club. The waiting and bar staff are all superb and the friendliness and willingness of the reception staff equals anything we have experienced anywhere in the world. The hotel provides seclusion whilst still being close enough to Kyrenia, Belapais and the beach. From arriving at hotel was met by Zia one of the wonderful members staff who showed us to our room and advised us of the very simple checking in procedure. We have stayed here before and all the staff remembered us so we felt very welcome. The position is stunning with amazing views from the pool and terrace. We had a fabulous view from our bungalow terrace too. Breakfast brought to your room with no extra charge if required. Pool area very spacious with lots of shade if necessary. When I realised my whole family had stayed at the Hideaway Club on seperate occasions at least once if not more then we had to find out ourselves what the fuss is about. It was worth it. The attention to detail for your stay, the impeccably friendly, funny and helpful staff, plsu the quality of facilities, rooms, pool and added extras where something to write home about. The hotel was lovely with recently upgraded facilities.When we arrived we found that the hotel had given us a free upgrade to a superior sea view suite.Lovely pool area and the bar was really pleasant.Nothing was to much trouble for the staff who were reality great.Taxis were easily available booked though the hotel and there were plenty of nic restaurants close by. We only stayed 3 nights, but found the hotel in a perfect relaxing location and very friendly, helpful staff.There is a choice of breakfast menus rather than a buffet, so it is quite limited as for example, you can only have either cooked choices such as eggs or full english breakfast, or cold choices such as cereal, or yoghurt and fruit, but not both. It does include do come with orange juice, tea/coffee and toast and jams though, so is perfectly adequate and the cooked options are freshly cooked... more
The rooms are quite sparse...the tv supplied was a joke!We thought availability of a receptionist only between the hours of 8am and 4pm was not good enough...no hot water the first day was an irritation but was remedied the second day.You need a car to get anywhere.The staff were good,very friendly particularly Hussayn and B'zia.Might stay there again...not certain yet,we prefer our creature comforts.... more
I was so impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of staff at the Hideaway Club Hotel. This is definitely something which stands out to guests who stay there! I found the Hideaway Club Hotel to be friendly, luxurious and tranquil. The food was good, the service impeccable and the rooms luxurious. It was a perfect place for me to unwind completely and nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff. The hotel was beautifully kept and had been lovingly created. It's ambience was one of an oasis of calm as it's situated some way outside Kyrenia. This is a small hotel with about 30 persons max.Very warm welcome, excellent staff, nothing too much trouble.Very helpfull receptionist who was also a fountain of knowledge of all things Cyprus.Food: very tasty food, especialy the daily 'specials'Room: we booked the luxury suite with sea views, large lounge and bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Possibly the best thing about this hotel is the fact that the view is the most amazing thing that I have seen in my entire life. The Hideaway Club resort is an oasis in a desert of noisy, overcrowded family hotels. As the name suggests it's just off the beaten track outside of Kyrenia proper in the nearby hills. They have a strict no under-12s policy and whilst this acts as an unfortunate exclusion of families with younger children the difference in atmosphere and noise levels is incredible. Been to North Cyprus three times in the past three years and thought somewhere new would be a nice change so we found the Hideaway Club Hotel thanks to Go North Cyprus booking company. The hotel is buried in the mountains. If you are the kind of holiday maker that likes to relax at a hotel without exploring the city you are in then this is definitely the place for you. We had a fantastic 11 night holiday on a half board basis. Lovely room, beautiful pool and outstanding staff - all made it a perfect holiday. We've been to lots of places but this is the first that I would really be keen on going back to. The views around the hotel are lovely, the mountains behind and the sea in front. We chose to stay at the Hideaway Club hotel after reading the reviews of others who had stayed there. The location is perfect and the views spectacular. Spent 3 nights at the Hideaway as part of our extended holiday exploring North Cyprus.Kyrenia was very different to Famagusta where we were renting a traditional Cypriot house within the city walls and although much more "touristy" we found the Hideaway Club to be a quiet and friendly haven with fabulous views.Our suite was welcoming and the staff were very friendly - we are sure that we will return in the future.... more
My husband and I had planned a romantic second honeymoon and were searching for the ideal place. We found it in Hideaway Club Hote, North Cyprus. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely location with the mountains behind and sea views to the front. The lack of children makes the Hideaway very relaxing and peaceful. Breakfast on the room balcony overlooking the sea was a great treat. Lots of help with advice on resteraunts to visit. We were recommended this hotel by close friends and we were not disappointed, all the staff were excellent and gave sound advise on wines, restaurants, etc. The location is superb as are the views and the pool and bar area are great.The only downside is because we were the first guests of the season there was a lot of refurbishment work going on early in the morning which would have upset some but it did encourage us to get out and see the area.... more
My wife and I decided to treat ourselves near Christmas with a winter get away. We couldn't have been more pleased with the stay we had at the Hideaway Club. As it was the winter season, the hotel was fairly quiet, which for us was a bonus. Even better was the fact that we had a free room upgrade because there was one available. We are very pleased with our stay in the Hideaway Hotel. The hotel is centrally located in the Kyrenia district, close to to Kyrenia city. It has a relaxed atmophere, the staff is friendly and helpful, the kitchen is good and service is excellent. We managed to get a room at the last moment as we had not booked. The staff were as always very helpful, friendly and unabtrusive. We dined there for the 2 nights and each meal was excellent and good quality, served with a smile. This is only are 2nd stay, but we will be back again soon. Joan and I needed a break and the Hideaway turned out to be the ideal spot, every breakfast on the balcony great views nothing to much trouble for the staff, the batteries were well and truly recharged, will go again later in the year, if you want to get away from it all this is the place.Would recommend the Hideaway at any time many first class resturants in the area for a night out and just a short from the harbour area.Parking to the front of the building is a bit cramped if you have a car.... more
My wife and I stayed at the Hideaway Club each time we have visited North Cyprus. The hotel offers a friendly staff with Adam and Ali and the boys. The Hideaway Club is splendid. My husband and I stayed at the hotel towards the end of September, providing us with a lovely spot without children or noise makers. For most of our trip we stayed by the pool, read, and took in the sun. The September months were still quite warm in North Cyprus. What a gorgeous hotel the Hideaway Club is! I did not want to leave, which says it all. The scenery all around is just beautiful, with views from the pool across to the mountain peaks, and colourful flowers everywhere. We upgraded to a private suite and it had its own private terrace which was perfect for relaxing and reading on. We always enjoy coming back to the Hideaway, because we know we will be made to feel very welcome, which is important to us. We like the good service, the nice food and the lovely views, which set this hotel apart from others in North Cyprus that we tried when looking at buying property here.
