Acapulco Beach Club Hotel Review - 73 of 127 Reviews

My wife and I took our baby daughter to this hotel for her first holiday and we were already really fond of northern cyprus so we decided to use gonorthcyprus.com again this year and book up at the Acapulco Beach Club hotel. We were also joined by her grandparents on her mother's side and my brother. The stay lasted 9 nights, and from start to finish it was absolutely brilliant. The Acapulco has a set of accommodation called Pine Court that looks to be newly built, which is where we stayed. Being new, it was in pristine condition and the rooms were much larger than we expected them to be. If I really had to pick faults, I suppose I'd point out that there were a couple of finishing touches missing that the decorators evidently hadn't quite gotten around to yet or had missed completely but these were minor and did nothing to spoil the good first impression. Our rooms were attended to thoroughly each day by the maids who were both unobtrusive and polite.

The meals we ate at the hotel consisted of a buffet which to its credit was constantly well stocked with warm food of various kinds. We had been concerned about the cleanliness of this style of dining but we found no evidence that hygiene was a cause for concern at the Acapulco. The swimming pool was never overcrowded and the stereotypical rush for the sun loungers was more of a casual stroll, thankfully. The nearby beach offers more of the same laidback atmosphere, though we would advise taking your own large towels unless you want to be scorched by hot sand!

Overall, if you arrive at this establishment with no expectations of a five star experience that would match a five star experience in one of the world's larger cities you will most certainly have an enjoyable time. As my wife so eloquently put it, “It's a lot closer to The Ritz than it is to the pits” which is more than can be said for many of Cyprus' lesser hotels.
