Acapulco Beach Club Hotel Review - 21 of 127 Reviews

Went to the Acapulco with a few girl friends for a week doing nothing on a beach, and that's just what we did! Beach was great - long, sandy, with clear blue sea and sunloungers for everyone. Loved the beach bar for drinks and snacks, and if we got too hot, we just ran into in the sea! Didn't bother with the water sports - too much effort in the heat, as it was HOT HOT HOT!

OK, we didn't spend ALL our time on the beach - we sat by the swimming pool as well! Most of us girls liked swimming in the pool better than the sea, but we were surprised how many kids were there too as it was during school term, but they were actually really cute and no trouble at all.

The buffet meals were amazing - you could have as much as you wanted, and there was loads of choice. Drinks were extra, but we stuck to local beer and wine, so it was still cheaper than drinks in the West End. We also gave the casino a miss because we were on a budget, but we did like the Turkish bath in the spa, with marble seating and much bigger than your average steam room at a UK spa.

Inside evening entertainment was hit and miss, but the beach disco was fab. lots of local lads turned up for this and us girls were chatted up all night - wicked!!!

Our last day we were really not wanting to go home and we're already working out if we can get back to the Acapulco again in September - we'll be looking on the web for late deals!!
