We recently stayed at Hotel Club Z on a short break booked through GoNorthCyprus.com it was a great option for our tight budget. The pictures online don't do the hotel justice; although the accommodation is a little dated, rooms are well equipped and comfortable, and the setting is lovely. The hotel is very close to shops, the harbour and an ancient castle, and there are great facilities on site like a large swimming pool and fantastic spa. We had breakfast at the hotel and really enjoyed the interesting... more

I've never used a travel agent to book a holiday before because I've always found doing it myself to be cheaper. However, as a one off, I decided to use www.gonorthcyprus as I knew very little about North Cyprus. Sue, the manager, dealt with my booking and I cannot praise her professionalism and knowledge enough! She got us a fab deal, with customer service you couldn't pay for! My wife and I decided to book to stay bed and breakfast at the Hotel Club Z, Kyrenia. After reading some bad reviews,... more

The Hotel Club Z is a small hotel located close to Kyrenia centre. It is a three star hotel and was everything we needed. Firstly, it was clean. The rooms were cleaned every day and the pool area and restaurant were spotless. We were there mid April so it was quiet. The pool bar wasn't open but being the only non Turkish people there, it was not surprising. We were the only ones in the pool but be aware the deep end is three metre deep.... more

I stayed recently at the Hotel Club Z in Kyrenia, and it is was absolutely fine. I really enjoyed my stay. It was very clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and relaxed and I loved the breakfasts on the patio over looking the pool. It was a nice location, only a short walk to the shops, the marina and the Castle. It had the feeling of a very well managed hotel. I recommend it, will stay there next time.... more

I took my boyfriend to North Cyprus to celebrate our anniversary. I was on a really tight budget but was desperate to find a holiday so I contacted Gary at Go North Cyprus. He was incredibly helpful and gave me a list of hotels. I chose the Hotel Club Z because of its location. The hotel is situated very close to Kyrenia harbour, which is a fantastic place! It meant that we didn't need any transport during the holiday and had plenty to do! The harbour was packed full of bars and restaurants; we had... more

My wife and I have just come back from an absolutely fabulous holiday in Kyrenia, staying at the Hotel Club Z! We treated ourselves to a week away after saving some money but were still on a tight budget. Mandy at Go North Cyprus helped us no end to find something within our budget. In all honesty, although reviews were good, we didn't have massively high hopes for the hotel as it was so reasonable but we didn't mind because all we wanted was sun, sea and exciting nightlife. We couldn't have been... more

I've just come back from my first holiday abroad with my girlfriend and stayed at the Hotel Club Z. We're both students so are on a very tight budget but we were really pleased when Gary found this holiday for us. The only expectations we had were that we were hoping for somewhere clean to stay and plenty of fun from our holiday. I can definitely say we got both!Hotel Club Z is a comfortable and simple hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and contain everything you need for a holiday where you... more

We stayed at Club Z for 10 days in August and was very pleased with every aspect of our stay. The hotel is very clean, including rooms, pool and communal areas. The hotel is located near the Courthouse and is a short walk to the Liman (Harbour). The hotel has a large swimming pool and there was no problem getting a sunbed, even in the afternoon. The B&B offer was very economical and breakfast was served from 7.30-10.30. The buffet style breakfast contained lots of cheeses (although not refrigerated),... more

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Club Z for a couple of weeks when we visited Northern Cyprus for a break. For the most part, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel facilities adequate and the staff helpful and hard-working. However, there is one major complaint I can't overlook and that is that the furniture and carpets in our villa were not really clean. I realize this is mainly due to the fact that the furniture is old; still at some point, if deep cleaning fails to accomplish the task of... more

Hotel Club Z is a cheap, cheerful place to stay for anyone who wants a good time for a relatively small amount of money. I took my family of four there and none of us left feeling disappointed. The hotel itself could definitely do with some modernising- it certainly hasn't been redecorated in some years and this shows. That's not to say the place is awful to look at, it could just do with some aesthetic updates. The curtains and carpets, for example, are very “early 90s” looking (personal preference... more

This was exactly what we wanted! My friends and I were looking for a cheap deal abroad or relaxation and a few cocktails! The Club Z gave us exactly that- it was the perfect choice, especially how reasonable the price was!We were greeted on arrival in a friendly and welcoming manner and were able to pop right to the cocktail bar, which was a lot of fun! We did spend many an evening nattering there after going out into the town. Our rooms were clean and airy. Furniture and decoration was basic but... more

I would recommend the Hotel Club Z for a family holiday. We have just returned from a short break there and we had a good time. The hotel is pretty standard and it looks a bit old fashioned plus it could do with sprucing up. It's looking somewhat tired. Having said that, you still get good value for what you are paying. A bonus is the staff who are very helpful and couldn't be nicer. The location is really good too, especially if you only want to walk to where you want to go. There is a holiday village... more

The rates we got at the Hotel Club Z were extremely favourable so our expectations were low. Well, we needn't have worried. We'd wanted a room with a pool view and they booked us into a room without one but they quickly relocated us to a room we were pleased with when we asked. It's a convenient spot for everything you might want to do and it's a nice location. The hotel isn't at the luxury end of the market but it's nice and it's surrounded by lovely Cyprus scenery. Who could ask for anything more?The... more

Ok here goes, I just returned from Kyrenia where myself and my hubby had booked a stay at the Hotel Club Z. The reason we chose this particular place was due to its very reasonable prices, even though some of the reviews we read weren't exactly gleaming we thought it was fair to give it a go. Having stayed for 2 weeks we do agree with some of the other reviewers about the negative points they made but there's also some good things going for this place too. Inside the hotel could really do with a... more

Myself and a small group of friends booked in to Club Z and were spread about the hotel. Those of us who had an upstairs room had a lovely view of the mountains but those who were unfortunate to be downstairs had rooms which were darkened by trees directly outside the windows. The location of the hotel was good as it was only a 10 minute walk from the town centre. Despite some of the rooms having good views, their condition wasn't fantastic. The beds and space was comfortable but during the whole... more

My wife and I have just come back from a week long trip self-catering villa at Hotel Club Z in Kyrenia. I've read a few other reviews and I have to back up what they say regarding the furniture and decor of the hotel. Although its a lovely place and has a really nice feel to it, the furniture isn't exactly great and looks pretty dated. The overall appearance was one of a very clean and well run hotel, just a tad outdated. We arrived very late at night due to our flight being delayed and so unfortunately... more

Hotel Club Z is definitely one of the more attractive prospects if you're looking for a holiday destination in Northern Cyprus. Parts of the building itself are restored from an old workhouse in the Mediterranean style, and the entire complex is surrounded by some beautiful flora that will no doubt interest the botanists among you- banana, walnut, almond and olive trees can all be found just outside the hotel. The health suite was amongst the finest we've seen available at a Cyprus hotel, and provides... more

Hotel Club Z should be really nice. Its a quick walk into Kyrenia, its got nice gardens, an indoor pool, a steam room, and part of the hotel is an historic building. There are some good restaurants within striking distance, and our villa had a kitchen area with enough pans, cutlery and plates to make a meal (just). The problem was that the villa needed an overhaul. The carpet was dirty, the rooms smelt musty and not well looked after, and the bathroom taps leaked. Admittedly these were fixed when... more
