Topset Hotel is a 3 star hotel in North Cyprus with its own man-made sandy beach at the bottom of its gardens. Just 2 miles from Kyrenia, the Topset Hotel complex (the Topset and the Emir Topset) has 60 rooms, either as duplex or garden studio rooms. Created with the look of a traditional Turkish Cypriot village, the hotel's accommodation is set in amongst fruit trees and palms, just metres from the sea itself.

We visited Topset Hotel for a week on an out of season break. It was great value for what we received, in our opinion. We got a good price on a week away with gonorthcyprus.com and they arranged our transfers for us. The accommodation was basic but spacious and well kept. We had a wonderful sea view and the gardens are lovely too. Breakfast is basic but adequate and the bar is nice, serving good reasonably priced meals. The staff were friendly and helpful and we weren't left wanting of anything.... more
Excellently located hotel by the sea, my wife and I spent a pleasant week at Topset House on a good deal we found via GoNorthCyprus.com. We had a nice mini villa with balconies to the front and the rear and there's a very nice swimming pool area with plenty of beds and umbrellas. Decent breakfast each morning, Turkish style with the addition of cake, and meals throughout the rest of the day were competitively priced. We were looking for a cheap getaway in north Cyprus somewhere that was decent enough but not fancy and we found Topset House on the gonorthcyprus website. We booked in for a week and were pleased to find the hotel in such a great location, overlooking the beach and the sea. We got a cheap and cheerful break at Topset House through gonorthcyprus, first time using the company but won't be out last, Gary in sales sorted everything for us, including the transfers. Yes it is a very basic place but for the price it's what we expected. Our room was small but functional and cleaned daily. We decided to book a last-minute break at Topset Hotel through GoNorthCyprus. We were a bit unsure after reading the reviews but we really did need to get away for as cheap as possible, and Topset Hotel seemed to fit the bill. We found Topset Hotel on gonorthcyprus.com and booked with the agent because the price and service was exceptional. We weren't looking for anything fancy or modern, more for the scenery, and the hotel had bags of it. The value was good, we felt; the hotel was traditional and pleasant and the staff were very attentive to our needs. Don't waste your money!! Cyprus is a beautiful island and there are much better places than this place. The prices are too high for the value. Cleanliness of rooms and toilets lacking. Staff very rude. Can not bring in your own food, whats worse the food they provide is overpriced and not very tasty. Our first impressions of the place were relatively good - cleanliness is always a major issue for me whenever I go abroad and I was happy to see that the Topset had obviously been cleaned very recently. Just got back from this 2 week holiday. It should be called 'Faulty Towers'. Just read a previous review about all the rules and regulations and especially the owner. It is all true. Felt very sorry for the staff because they were berated in front of everyone, and the owner is very rude and forgets that we are actually paying to stay there. We stayed at the Topset hotel for a week recently. In my opinion, this is one of the better hotels in or around Kyrenia, North Cyprus. The staff here were fabulous. They went out of their way on several occasions to make sure we were comfortable during our stay which was great. I can't compliment them enough. Our room was very nice too. Do not go to this hotel under any circumstances ,so many laws laid down to you ,you feel your in a open prison.we went for a two week break half board which was a joke you were given the choise of either cornflakes or eggs for breakfast but not both,only one choice of dinner ,you were not allowed to take food into the hotel or drinks from outside a notices says these will be conviscated till your leaving the hotel ,the owner of the hotel was always in a bad mood with the staff and shouted at them... more

We loved this hotel! We stayed at the Topset hotel recently and I was very impressed with the service and with the hotel itself. Our room was larger than usual, with a lovely ocean view and an unusual layout. We stayed at the Topset Hotel for a week last August and were very impressed! It was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in North Cyprus. The hotel staff were very professional and helpful, and the waiters are always cheerful, in spite of the long hours they work. We were given a large, lovely room with an ocean view, and we found it to be comfortable and very nice. Our experience at TOPSET HOTEL was anything but good. The old road leading down to the hotel had us a little worried on arrival, thinking -have we come to the right place? given the lovely pictures on their website. On arrival we had a glitch with our room which was then sorted out. Rooms not as great as the images on their web page- rather standard. My two friends and I were really impressed by the Topset Hotel. We went on a cheap last minute get away hoping for relaxation and perhaps the odd late night. We got exactly what we asked for! The hotel itself was the definition of peaceful. It was relaxing and didn't ever feel too busy. My family loved staying at the Topset, we had one of the best holdays! It was just effortless from start to finish and so relaxing. The Topset isn't one of these brand new ultra modern 'everything looks the same' hotels. I enjoyed a stay at the Top Set Hotel in June 2009. We flew in via Larnaca from where we were transferred by mini-bus via the border crossing to the hotel. Journey took about 80 minutes.The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and airconditioning was welcome as there was a heat wave, even by Cypriot standards, during our visit. The Topset is a very relaxed hotel and we loved it because you would wander amongst the gardens or lounge by the pool, or sit by the sea, and nobody would hassle you or bother you. Top Set.... 10 out of 10 ... an ideal holiday especially as schools had not broken up and every where was peaceful. Views of mountains and sea from rooms ,and a terrace looking out to sea... bliss... We found all the staff wonderfully helpful and friendly . Polite and courteous they also found time to be entertaining .
