My husband and I visited Merit Crystal cove recently for a week out of season. We were checked in no problem by a very efficient man and found that during our stay, all of the staff members were equally friendly and helpful. Our room was large and luxurious, very clean and serviced daily. My wife and I visited Merit Crystal Cove recently for a poker tournament and we really did have a fantastic trip. My husband and I rarely get away on our own but we had the chance recently so booked a break at the Merit Crystal Cove with gonorthcyprus. By a country mile the best hotel in Cyprus. Locals swear by it and now i can see why.You get the luxury of using 3 hotels in 1 with a buggy that comes along every2 minutes 24 hours a day to ensure you dont ever have to walk more then 10 meters. When we arrived we found that although I'd booked and paid a supplement for a room with sea view, we were given a room with hardly any sea view and what was even more disappointing no balcony. These guys were on the ball 24/7. Nothing was a problem when the need arose. We had the all inclusive package which was well worth the money. This gives access to all the facilities in the hotel including the nearby Royal where I recommend you checkout the spa - We defy you to find a better facility! Merit Crystal Cove is still a very good hotel in which to spend Christmas. Along with a group of friends from Limassol we had a fantastic Christmas. Super food in a choice of restaurants. Lovely staff from being greeted at reception to the lady who cleaned our room and attentive bar staff. We celebrated Christmas Eve with live music, great night, Christmas night was gala Dinner again with entertainment and all the tables beautifully decorated. Excellent hotel, though showing signs of wear in bedrooms. Nevertheless we were able to move rooms without any problems and the hotel staff were all more than helpful. Our teenage son has just left for university so as a final treat, we took him to North Cyprus. We found the whole experience so comfortable and relaxing. The food had so much selection , you were spoilt for choice. The room was super, good service , and really friendly staff. The facilities were excellent , and we used the Spa centre when the weather was not so good. Which was the only negative. We had a mix of sun and rain, but still managed to get a good colour. !! It would be very difficult to fault this hotel. The choice of food was exceptional and the quality good. All aspects of room service were also good. The Merit Crystal Cove is really a wonderful hotel with excellent food, extremly friendly and nice staff and a very relaxed atmosphere. I stayed here in October with my son and his familiy. The baby also felt very happy in her baby bed and in the hotel kindergarden. Unfortunately nobody can speak English or other languages there. Our 4th visit to North Cyprus and our second stay at the Merit Crystal Cove. Superb location and spotlessly clean and tidy. Even the chair and cushion coverings from the lilttle alcoves scattered around the pool and gardens were changed every day. We were 3 families stayed 5 days. Nobody wanted to leave, they were begging me to extend the stay as I was the "group leader". Since we came back, they have been nagging on me to take them again. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere, the beach, the everything was beyond owesome. Lovely hotel . Large bedroom with all 5 * accessories . Food was excellent, for all paletes ,even fussy teenagers. The grounds are well kept and very clean. My husband and I stayed at the Merit Crystal Cove from 10th - 17th March and were both impressed with the hotel, the weather could have been kinder, but that is in the lap of the gods, lots of rain and wind and quite cold, so be choosy about the time you visit. Locals seem to think that after the 15th March the weather improves, but I am not sure. We stayed in the merit Crystal Cove Hotel in 2006 and enjoyed our stay generally. We thought we would gothere again this year. Apparently the prices have gone up by 30£ per night since last year. Are they kidding.Although we enjoyed our holiday when we stayed there we did not consider it a 5 star hotel.We found the staff to be quite unfriendy and tip seeking all the time. We booked two interlocking rooms for ourselves and our teenage boys from the 24th - 27th December. We had two friends book the hotel at the same time. Our rooms were lovely with all that we needed in there, slippers, robes, plenty of bathroom products, tea and coffee and a non alcoholic mini bar. Earlier this year we flew to Northern Cyprus to visit the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel. The Hotel is advertised as 5 star, and we got a relatively good deal on flights and accommodation. We've just come back from an amazing week in Kyrenia after staying at the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel. From start to finish the holiday was superb, with the hotel being one of the main reasons. Loads of sunbathing areas and right on top of the beach. I've just got back from a couple of weeks at this amazing and first class hotel. I travelled with a friend for a few days in the sun relaxing after a hard few months back home. The Merit Crystal an excellent all-inclusive hotel situated in extensive grounds. Plenty of places to relax, hammocks abound in the beautiful gardens and swimming areas. We booked the Hotel with our neighbours and stayed for 3 nights over christmas. We all had a great time. The rooms were excellent with good views. Cleaning staff ensured everything was kept to high standard throughout our stay. Whereever we were in the Hotel all the staff were very helpful and friendly. I booked a surprise trip for my partner and I last month to stay at the Merit Crystal Cove hotel. I'd visited kyrenia before but never this particular hotel. We found it to be in an excellent location at the north coast of the island with great views and some lovely scenery. Got an inclusive deal that even included local drinks, and you could have a packed lunch if you were out during the day, which other guests said was nice. My family went for a week at the Merit Cove in June, and it was really an amazing hotel, painted bright colours and with an odd shape outside, but inside its very smart and feels like a real 5 star hotel. My room was big, with a big satellite tv, and a door through to Mum and Dad which was like having your own room but felt safer.
