My friend and I stayed at Hotel Sempati having found a cheap break through gonorthcyprus.com. We had a clean, decently sized room, the beds were very comfy. Breakfast was standard and filling enough and the price of drinks was good, we didn't eat at the hotel at other mealtimes so can't comment on lunch or tea. The ambience is nice and relaxed and the hotel isn't far from the sea, so you can walk down and enjoy the views. There is a well maintained pool at the hotel too but it was a bit cold when... more

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Sempati for a short break we booked through gonorthcyprus. The accommodation is quite basic but the bed was comfy and our towels were changed daily. We also had a very nice balcony with a great view of the sunrise. The shower water ran a little hot to cold and the hotel in general could do with a bit of a refresh. We didn't eat much at the hotel but the staff in the dining room were friendly and helpful the couple of times we did, drink prices were good too. Breakfast... more

I visited Hotel Sempati with my wife on a break booked through gonorthcyprus. It was our first visit to the hotel and to the region in fact, and the hotel staff were excellent in making us feel welcome and right at home. We had a decent room with a comfortable bed and enjoyed using the pool, although people get down early to reserve sunbeds so be aware if you want to pick out a spot! Beautiful gardens and the pool was very clean. Service is good and efficient and everything is very reasonably priced.... more

We found Hotel Sempati via the GoNorthCyprus website and booked a week via Gary in sales. For the money, we felt we received very good value. The hotel looked freshly painted and renovated and the staff were superb, so helpful and polite. The hotel is a good all rounder, not the most luxurious but not basic either. The food is fine if somewhat limited, I would advise ordering the eggs because the chef preparing them does them very well. The scenery is nice and there's a great restaurant to be found... more

I was looking for a well priced trip away before Christmas and the Hotel Sempati seemed ideal. We booked with gonorthcyprus who got us a good deal and we arrived to a very pleasant garden room, which was spacious and clean. The accommodation is a little dated but we couldn't complain for the price. Towels were changed daily and the pool area is very clean with plenty of sunbeds. There's good choice at breakfast and at lunch too but you need to get down to dinner early to use the buffet as it's very... more

We've just returned from a week at Hotel Sempati, which we booked through GoNorthCyprus. We got a great deal on the hotel, which was a little rough around the edges but very friendly and in a great location. Our room was comfortable, I think the decor and linen could do with updating if the hotel wants to attract higher paying guests but we can't complain for what we paid. Breakfast was basic but adequate, you can request a fresh omelette be made for you which is a nice touch, and we found the staff... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Sempati with GoNorthCyprus recently and wanted to recommend it to other visitors. It is a lovely place, truly, very comfortable with welcoming and friendly staff. We stayed at the top of the hotel and had a wonderful sea view from the balcony. The room itself was cleaned every day. This is a family run hotel and you can tell, the food has that wonderful home cooked flavour and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. We really enjoyed the outdoor pool, which... more

We travelled for a family holiday to Northern Cyprus and stayed at Hotel Sempati for a week. Break was booked through gonorthcyprus and we were pleased with the price. When we arrived we were amazed by the views, really fantastic scenery of the mountains, especially from the balcony in our room. The accommodation itself was comfortable and clean, the light in the room could have been a bit brighter but I always find hotel rooms are not very well lit. We found the staff to be friendly and accommodating,... more

I did some research before booking and was impressed by the reviews of Hotel Sempati on the GoNorthCyprus website. Mixed reviews elsewhere but decided to go for it as me and the hubby needed to get away for a bit. We were welcomed by the night receptionist, who was lovely and checked us in, we had a fabulous room near the top of the hotel with gorgeous sea views - not what were expecting considering we paid budget prices but very happy! Breakfast was great, lots of choice, omelettes, meats, cheeses... more

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hotel Sempati for a week, a friend recommended the hotel to us after booking last year with GoNorthCyprus. We decided to book a stay too and Sue in bookings was really helpful in making arrangements for us. The hotel has wonderful views over the sea, a fantastic pool area and a lovely atmosphere, we were made to feel very welcome. It definitely exceeded our expectations for a three-star hotel, we found it quite plush and contemporary! The meals outdoors on... more

The Hotel Sempati was such a refreshing change from our usual sort of getaway, we were after somewhere quiet and away from the action for a change and GoNorthCyprus really delivered in finding this place for us. We wanted a mid-range hotel with a nice setting and Garry suggested Hotel Sempati because it's somewhat out of the way but has gorgeous views of the mountains and the sea. We found the setting tranquil and relaxed, and felt very welcome by the friendly staff at the hotel. Our room was clean... more

We've been to southern Cyprus loads of time and finally ventured up north. We looked for a travel site dedicated to this area and came across Go North Cyprus. I took advantage of their free phone number as I had a few questions. I spoke to a lovely girl called Mandy who was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot if info on the Sempati. From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right decision, thank you Mandy! The hotel stands among beautiful grounds with loads of greenery and trees. A very... more

My family enjoyed their stay st Sempati. The swimming pool is nice and clean as well as rooms. The views of mountain from the balcony on the room is breathtaking. We were surprised to find the small secluded beach just 5 mins walk from the hotel. I felt like jumping in the sea but then realised I can't swim so resisted the temptation. My wife and kids loved it and we spend most of the afternoon just relaxing soaking up the sunshine. Also, plus point is it's closeness to other attractions like the... more

Booked ourselves into the Sempati on 1st September 2014. We booked via Go North Cyprus and got a brilliant deal on a couple of weeks half board for all the family. First impressions were great as we didn't arrive until fairly late in the evening but were still offered a hot meal when we got in. Our two rooms were really spacious and had been cleaned thoroughly and recently as far as we could tell. Breakfast the next day was served from eight onwards, including plenty of hot and cold options so we... more

My wife and I visited Hotel Sempati at the end of the summer season last year (2014). I promised I'd take the time to leave a review on behalf of the staff (they deserve it) but never got around to it until now. The first and main thing I'd like to mention is just how helpful the various staff members we encountered over the course of our ten day stay were- from the moment we arrived and our (admittedly overladen) suitcases were handily lugged up to our rooms to the genuine well-wishes on our departure... more

I flew out to the Sempati with a few friends in mid-Autumn (booked through Go North Cyprus). We weren't entirely sure which hotel to go for since there's a fairly wide variety in the general area but ultimately we were quite happy with our choice. The staff there were certainly friendly enough and our rooms (3 singles) were clean and comfortable, which on a holiday where most of our time was spent outdoors were our main concerns. We were also delighted by the sea view- we didn't know this would... more

I've just returned from a really reasonable holiday to North Cyprus, staying at the Hotel Sempati. I booked for my husband and I through gonorthcyprus.com, with our only request being that we were close to the sea. Gary at Go North Cyprus got us a really excellent deal at this hotel and we had a wonderful holiday! Our hotel room at the Sempati was a really good size, with an amazing sea view. This hotel is quite unique because most, if not all, of its rooms have a sea view, due to its unusual layout.... more

Hotel Sempati is located about 2 minutes walk from a small sandy beach and about 20 minutes walk from a choice of 6-8 quite good restaurants along the coast. The older accommodation rooms and restaurant areas are definitely in need of a refurbishment, but we were fortunate to stay in the new rooms which are light, airy and spacious. As we were on the 2nd floor from the balcony you have both great sea and magnificent mountain views - just perfect all day for relaxing. The hotel reception staff... more

I have stayed at the Sempati several times and each time I seem to enjoy myself more than the time before. It's my favorite hotel in North Cyprus. In fact, after my husband and I stayed here the first time, we said to each other that we'll never stay anywhere else. First of all, the place is family owned and operated and they really take pride in their establishment. They employ several outside staff members and they obviously treat them very well. The staff seems genuinely happy to work here.... more

This was our second trip out here as a family, myself my husband and out two small girls aged 10 and 12. Both times we've visited we've had a really great time and everything has gone to plan. We had a few small issues with the room this time round such as an air conditioning unit which didnt function correctly but after speaking to the staff we had it looked at and repaired within a few hours as it was quite uncomfortable without it. The scenery and views were really lovely and we had the chance... more

The Sempati is not a very big hotel, but that's what I really liked about it. The pool is big enough for a swim but not so large that you feel intimidated sitting beside it and not swimming. It feels more like a villa pool, especially in April when at times it was just me, my book and the sunshine! The little beach nearby is gritty rather than sandy, but great for just watching the waves and feeling relaxed. For a good view to the sea, I sat on the upper terrace above the pool, a drink in one hand... more

We enjoyed a lovely winter break at the Sempati Hotel in North Cyprus, with sunshine every day and no mention of the credit crunch all week - what a change from the UK. I was a little nervous about flying into Larnaca in the south and then crossing the border into north Cyprus, but our taxi driver was there waiting for us on time, and the journey very straightforward. He also helped with our cases, and drove very sensibly, not racing along as every other Cyprus taxi driver seems to do.The hotel... more

We were looking for a nice relaxing place to stay and the Hotel Sempati was perfect. The location was quiet, the rooms were lovely and the staff was great. They were most helpful in every respect. One suggestion is to hire a car if you want to do more than just sit by the pool or visit the nearby beach. The beach that is close by is somewhat rocky. We are divers and we enjoyed the fact that they have a PADI dive centre there. The meals were very good at the hotel and there is another restaurant... more

My partner and I are so used to seeing the horrible 'cardboard box' hotels while on holiday in Cyprus that this white curving building was a refreshing and pleasant surprise. We had selected this hotel for its reviews and reports of its high standards and we were not disappointed. The room was large and comfortable, with all of the amenities that you would expect/ want from a hotel. Our room also had a pleasant view of the ocean, although the balcony area was a little cramped. The pool is quite... more

When we checked in to the Sempati I asked for a sea view room, and the receptionist simply smiled and said "They all have a sea view!" It was the same throughout the holiday, the staff taking a quiet pride in their hotel and their country, despite the few moaning Brits that seemed to find fault with everything.I felt really able to relax at the Sempati, since I could usually get a sun lounger by the pool, and the bar was never very far away! The curved shape of the hotel acts like a suntrap, so... more

Our holiday at this hotel was one of the best family holidays that we have had. The rooms felt quite airy and fresh, and there was a little balcony to enjoy the view. It had all of the things you would expect from a nice hotel room, a hairdryer, AC, mini fridge, TV etc. The hairdryer was fine and although we had brought one it was handy to have a second one since we have three girls in the family. We didn't spend much time in the room though, as the kids wanted to be at the pool most of the... more

I loved the Sempati, a cool-looking hotel with nice rooms that had views to the sea. I stayed for a week and wished I could have stayed for another. I swam every day in the pool, and the staff even put my towel on the sun lounger - amazing! My room was really cool and light, and had a balcony so you could sit out with a beer and chill. I loved eating breakfast outside - lots of good things to eat like cheese and meats, but you had to pay extra if you wanted English breakfast. I tried the local restaurant... more

When planning our honeymoon we wanted to stay somewhere beautiful, warm and somewhat secluded. The Hotel Sempati was a wonderful choice for us. The views from our room were incredible. The hotel is between the mountains of North Cyprus and the sea. Whenever we took time to look out from our balcony we were impressed. The staff was most helpful and attentive to the needs of a honeymoon couple. The room was clean and spacious; we spent a fair amount of our time at the pool. This is a family... more
