Acapulco Beach Club Hotel Review - 14 of 127 Reviews

I've recently come back from Cyprus where I took my family for a weeks holiday. We looked through the brochures and decided upon the Acapulco Beach Club and Hotel as it was a 5 star and we wanted to splash out and treat ourselves a bit. The hotel was located quite close to the airport and the transfer took about 15-20 minutes which was good news for the children after a flight out here. We also liked that the Acapulco Beach Hotel wasn't very far away from the attractions such as Kyrenia Castle, St.Hilarion Castle, and Bellapais Monastery. We were a bit concerned about finding somewhere with a nice safe beach for the kids to play on during the days and the Acapulco was simply perfect with a lovely long sandy beach very close indeed!

The hotel itself did have a mix of both families on holiday and also couples looking for a relaxing escape and to spend some quality time together (the words of other guests we met!) Although this didn't really cause any problems as there were plenty of children about the Hotel. We all thought that the hotel food was top notch and even the picky children found something they liked to eat each night! However even though the food was good, the drinks were a little pricey, especially the soft drinks. My family and I spent a lot of time near the pool too. It wasnt the biggest pool i'd ever seen but it was was really suitable for us all. While we were there, the weather was excellent too, which can make all the difference.

We all agreed that the holiday was one of the best we'd been on and this had a lot to do with the hotel and the helpfulness of the staff working there. We'd recommend going there to anybody who asked and we may even go back again ourselves at some point.

Disliked — the drinks were expensive
