Acapulco Beach Club Hotel Review - 5 of 127 Reviews

Just returned from a two week family holiday in Kyrenia where we had a really great time. It was quite hot for the children, aged 6 and 4, being August, and as it was quite busy around the pool but there was plenty of shade. The aquapark was a great feature of the resort and all the children loved the chutes and slides. The beach was close by and the children enjoyed playing in the sand and cooling off in the shallow clear water. I can also recommend the kids club activities run by the hotel. The staff were well trained and excellent with our children. I would definitely recommend the hotel kids club if you have young children so you can all enjoy the break.

We had a bungalow in the grounds and the best thing about that was that it was so much more spacious and private than a hotel room. There was plenty of entertainment and a disco at the hotel. We booked half-board and the children could choose what they liked from the buffet, which is definitely the best arrangement with a family. It worked out at very good value for money.

The downside to the Acapulco is that it is quite a long way from the town of Kyrenia (about 8km) but there is a free shuttle bus service. The harbour and the old castle are pretty, but ice creams and drinks were a rip off.
