We've just got back from our break at Onar Holiday Village and can safely say we had a great time. I found the hotel on the gonorthcprus website and we booked soon after. It was my wife and I plus our two children both under 4. We got a good price for our bungalow, which was comfortable and had everything we needed without being over the top on luxury. My wife and I plus our daughter stayed at Onar Holiday Village recently on a deal we found through Go North Cyprus. We booked through the site and were very pleased with the price for our trip, which included transfers. We arrived to a spacious and very clean bungalow, yes it was a bit basic but with a toddler that's better for us - less to ruin! My family and I stayed at Onar Village July 2018 and had a fantastic holiday at this property. The bungalow we stayed in was clean, well air-conditioned, and very comfortable for my family of five. With the hotel situated high above Kyrenia, you have the feeling of an exclusive 5-star hotel with terrific views of the downtown and sea without the hectic crowdedness of the city. We liked the reviews of Onar Holiday Village and booked a week away through GoNorthCyprus. The hotel is a little old fashioned but this adds to its charm, many other places we've stayed at in the past look the same and are very modern, so it was nice to stay somewhere with a bit of character. We have visited the region several times before but this was our first time at Onar Holiday Village. We fancied a change from our usual haunts and found a good deal for a week away through the gonorthcyprus website. We spent a week at Onar Holiday Village after finding a great deal on the GoNorthCyprus website. Very good value and staff were wonderful. We liked the setting of the hotel on the hillside with views over the town and coast below, very relaxing and tranquil. The location is outside town so away from the hustle and bustle. When we found Onar Holiday Village on the GoNorthCyprus website we were swung right away by the reviews and booked a week's stay. We had a great time; the owner Mehmet is really friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself occupies a pleasant spot on the hillside, with truly wonderful views out over Girne. Very nice traditional hotel with good staff. Booked a week's stay through gonorthcyprus and was very pleased with the deal. Our room was clean and comfortable with most modcons except for a hairdryer. The grounds are beautifully kept and the pools are clean. If you like a friendly hotel with a personal touch then this is the place. We booked our second trip for 2017 through gonorthcyprus after a great experience last year and this time around was no exception. We booked in at Onar Holiday Village with gonorthcyprus.com for our first visit to the region. We had a lovely little villa surrounded by gardens and found the accommodation comfortable and quiet, if a little tired. Even so, we paid an excellent price so cannot complain! We booked a holiday at the Onar Holiday Village for March with GoNorthCyprus after reading the reviews and had a fabulous time. The family who owns the hotel met us shortly after arrival and were so welcoming, there was a lovely friendly atmosphere and the staff take a genuine interest in the guests, which is rare these days. Our stay at the family run Onar Holiday Village couldn't have been better. We absolutely loved the relaxed atmosphere here, together with the traditional decor. It definitely felt as though we were staying with a Cypriot family, instead of at a lovely hotel. Booked with Go North Cyprus Onar Village is in a wonderful location on the hillside overlooking Kyrenia. It is only a short and cheap taxi ride into Kyrenia and during the heat of August Onar was noticeably cooler than the town. The hotel buildings are lovely, clean and welcoming and nicely decorated. All I can say is 'wow'! My family have just been on a wonderful holiday to Kyrenia, with a truly excellent hotel! We stayed at the Onar Holiday Village, which compared to many of the other Kyrenia hotels promised simple facilities at a really reasonable price. Our room, with balcony, overlooked the mountains and the sea out towards Bellapais abbey, and was flooded with sunlight from early morning. I booked my family's stay at the Onar Holiday Village through Gary at GoNorthCyprus.com who gave us a fantastic deal. The two reasons we picked this holiday village were the reasonable price and location. On both counts we weren't let down but better than that, we found some hidden extras that we weren't expecting!The hotel's facilities are excellent, with a sizeable indoor pool and gorgeous log fire in the lounge every evening. We booked an off-peak stay in North Cyprus to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. She's due to move out next month so we wanted something for a final family holiday. Stayed for 10 days from 26th September, great view of mountains and down into the town.Friendly staff and soptlessly clean, rooms great size, comfortable and well furnished. Great pool and best sun loungers of any hotel we have stayed in. I have just returned from a girly holiday staying at the Onar Holiday Village. We were after a short, relaxing break, somewhere reasonably priced and I do believe that we got exactly that!The Onar was well presented with lovely gardens. It was very peaceful and had a relaxing feel. On the negative side, it was set quite far back from local amenities and most visits out required a taxi ride. Our room at the Onar was clean and had a small balcony overlooking the harbour. Food in the restaurant was good, also at local restaurants such as 6 Brothers and at restaurants in Kyrenia itself.
