Bella View Hotel really is a cosy little place, certainly something a bit different from the norm and a great option for travellers looking for a quirky place to stay. My husband and I booked in for a week via gonorthcyprus and had a lovely time. The hotel is clean and tidy and most of the staff are friendly and helpful. My wife and I stayed at Bella View for a week on a break we booked with gonorthcyprus.com. Check in was smooth, staff are efficient, not all that talkative, and our room was comfortable and spacious. It was kept very clean throughout our stay and linen was changed daily. The decor won't be for everyone but we liked the traditional style and deep colours, it gives the place some character and personality. I booked a room for my wife and I at Bella View Boutique Hotel through gonorthcyprus.com, who arranged our transfers too. No problems with the booking and when we arrived the check in was smooth. We had a nice bright and modern room on the top floor, which was spotlessly clean and very well kept. My husband and I found Bella View on the GoNorthCyprus website and spoke to Garry in sales, who booked us in and arranged everything, even our transfers. On arrival we were given a lovely welcome by the staff, who were helpful and polite during our entire stay. The hotel is very clean and we had a nice comfortable room with a luxurious feel. We had a lovely relaxing week at Bella View and are so glad we booked our break with gonorthcyprus, they sorted everything for us, even the transfers, so we could have a worry-free getaway. We were bowled over by the beauty of the location on arrival, it's sort of between the sea and the mountains and the views are simply amazing. A comfortable hotel, not luxury. It is clean and friendly. The breakfasts are poor, unless you asked for hot food, it was not on the buffet. We stayed in for 1 evening meal which was o.k. just. My husband asked a simple meal, poached eggs on toast. This could not supplied, but cheese on toast was. strange. A car is necessary to get about. Excellent well run and friendly happy staff .Good views down to Kyrenia town and the sea, nice swimmingpool, plenty of sun loungers and everywhere spotlessly clean, would reconmend it to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing break.Suggest you hire a car though as its quite a very long walk into town and its up hill coming back! Although the Bella View is small, the service is first class and the hotel itself is beautiful. We visited in April after booking through GoNorthCyprus and found our break to be everything we wanted and more. People ask why we keep coming back to the Bella View in Kyrenia, but when you find your perfect holiday why go anywhere else! This was the first time we booked through the Go North Cyprus website and they were superb, I can't recommend them enough. We came to North Cyprus for a wedding which was very near the hotel. We couldn't have found a better place to stay then here. Beautiful hotel, very clean ,very friendly and obliging staff who made the stay very enjoyable. Would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The Bella view hotel provided us with a wonderful bolt hole while exploring northern Cyprus. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable with their sparklingly clean bathrooms and bedroom. We arrived late but were invited to the party in the downstairs function rooms where a Cypriot musical night was underway. This was fine, we had food and drinks and sucked in the atmosphere though it was a little noisy. We have recently stayed at the lovely Bella View Hotel of which the turkish traditional style, designed by the owner's wife, is much more charming than depicted online. The reception areas open out onto a very good pool with it's attractive and plentiful sunbathing areas to enjoy; including the tucked away 'crazy golf' which was fun after a swim. My husband and I had a 9 night stay and really wished we had booked longer. It was such a peaceful and relaxing hotel and a perfect location forr exploring north Cyprus, The staff couldn't do enough for you and it was one of the most friendliest places we have stayed in a long time. As it said on the tin, a boutique hotel in every sense of the word. Excellent very friendly service from all the staff and a perfect location from which to sample the delights of North Cyprus. Having read through the previous reviews what can be added to what has been said before? The football stadium's stand roof does blot out the view of the sea but then again its so far away anyway that its hardly a big deal. Our room was on the other side and the view was simply of a wall and a few plants but unless you're bed bound who worries what the view from the room is anyway.Obviously you need a hire car to get around, and the outskirts of Kyrenia are a little confusing to negotiate yourself... more
Not long returned from the Bella View Hotel. Extremely pleased with the hotel itself, the cleanliness and comfort, plus the wonderful terrace.The breakfast left a lot to be desired, in fact we gave breakfast a miss on a couple of days finding that in a 2 week period it because too repetitive.You have to be careful about the room that you are allocated. Spent a great week at the Bella View over Easter. Staff very friendly, including the dog! Food very good, but with so many places to eat in the area would go B & B. For a special treat have dinner at the Mid-Summer House restaurant only 20. Minutes drive from the hotel. We plane to go back to the Bella View May 2014'Do go to. It was a great week in Northern Cyprus and a very friendly hotel. Originally wanted to go to the Abbey Gardens again but it was closed and this was an excellent substitute. The only snag was that the Terrace and the Grandstand in front of the hotel obstructed the view, at least from the ground floor rooms, but this was a very small inconvenience.The food was excellent, particularly the 'vegetable and cheese tower' starter. We spent a week here in March but if we came again we would come later so we could use the lovely pool which was sitting looking pretty and neglected.I was disappointed to have a room at the back so not a sea view and would have like to have been given the choice at the time of booking. Many would often feel that a fair review should be based on the simple question, “would I come back to this hotel?” In the case of our recent visit to Northern Cyprus where we stayed at a place called Bella View, the hotel scored very highly in our opinion and we certainly would be returning at some point! In my opinion, Hotel Bella View in Bellapais village is one of the most exotic boutique hotels of the world. In fact, Bella View hotel is less a hotel than a country house. The terrific view of mountains from the terraces and swimming pool of this hotel makes this hotel the best place to stay at Bellapais. We only recently returned from a short stay in the Bella View Hotel, which we decided to try on recommendation from my Mother-in-law. We arrived there in the early hours of the morning, and expected to find it practically deserted, but the manager was there to greet us warmly and offer us a drink and a free snack before we retired for the night. The Bella View Hotel is a very nice, quiet place to stay. The Hotel is very near Bellapais Abbey, and a short drive from the town. We enjoyed lots of nice touches at the Bella View Hotel, and enjoyed some of its idiosyncrasies as well! The hotel is officially a boutique hotel, which I guess allows it to be both extremely comfortable and quirky at the same time...The hotel is halfway between Kyrenia and Bellapais, which in effect means its a long walk downhill or a steep climb uphill to get anywhere. We found the Bella View Hotel to be a rather odd mix of country house chic inside and Mediterranean holiday suntrap outside! The room corridor was dark wood and soft carpets, the foyer was swagged and stuffed with objects and paintings.
