Tripadvisor was driving me mad so decided to call a specialist for advice , called Go North Cyprus and spoke to Garry, who listened to our requirements for a cheapish but comfortable hotel right on the beach and not too far to drive for restaurants. The Ada Beach lived upto our expectations , our room was comfortable with a stunning seaview , the breakfast was fairly basic but sufficient , we drove into Kyrenia a few times and found prices under half what we pay near our home in Paphos. already planning... more

My wife and I booked a short break at Ada Beach with gonorthcyprus, who we were pleased to say found us a great deal on our first trip to the region. We wanted somewhere quite quiet and the hotel was ideal, situated close to the beach and outside the town. There's a wonderful large pool and a stylish restaurant, where we enjoyed the breakfast every day and had a good dinner a few times too. Our room was clean and pleasant with a balcony overlooking the sea, which was fantastic. The bed was comfortable... more

We've just returned from a late break at Ada Beach, which we booked through gonorthcyprus on a whim. We really wanted to get away for a few days but had a very low budget. We were browsing the website when we found a great deal so without hesitation we booked straightaway. We knew what to expect so weren't surprised to find the hotel somewhat dated but it was very clean and the staff were pleasant, especially the nice gentleman on reception. The hotel was very peaceful and we loved the beach, which... more

If you're after a beach escape that won't break the bank then Ada Beach is a good option. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and found the hotel to be decent, albeit in need of a bit of TLC. We got a great deal from gonorthcyprus.com so we can't really complain, our room was basic but functional, though a couple of the plug sockets were faulty. Breakfast was fine, we didn't eat here at any other time so can't comment on those meals. Staff are friendly and pleasant but the best bit has to be... more

We booked in at Ada Beach as a last-minute break, we were looking to get away very cheaply and saw the hotel on the gonorthcyprus website, booking soon after. It's a very basic place but staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. Rooms and communal areas very clean. Absolutely lovely outdoor pool area, very quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. We didn't want somewhere that would be noisy at night and Ada Beach is quite far from the action so it's extremely peaceful in the evenings, we... more

Various reviews prepared us well for our stay at the Ada beach , Go North Cyprus had the best offer and the added bonus of a private taxi from the airport, no dropping off at other hotels , just door to door . we aere on the 3rd floor , rooms are quite basic but the view made up for it, we hired a car and found it and ideal base , Kyrenia a short 20 minute drive away . Have already rebooked for Setember.... more

We stayed at Ada Beach for an Easter getaway, we weren't too sure what to expect but GoNorthCyprus always deliver and our trip here was wonderful. Third time we've been to north Cyprus, we always choose somewhere mid-range and GoNorthyprus have the best deals. We found our room quite spacious and very clean, there's a nice ambience and the staff are efficient. Superb sea views and right by the beach too, so a good setting. We enjoyed the choice and quality of meals at lunchtime and breakfast was... more

We recently stayed at Ada Beach, booked via GoNorthCyprus.com, and had a lovely time. The hotel is not particularly luxurious but then we didn't pay for perfection and were impressed with the overall value we received. We arrived quite late at night and were met by a very pleasant and friendly manager. Our room was clean and comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet was nice enough, not loads of choice but enough, and the hotel is right on the seafront, so you can expect... more

All my kids love the sea, so finding a hotel on GoNorthCyprus.com that had one directly on its doorstep was a priority. Luckily, we found Ada Beach Hotel, which not only had a beach right outside, but also a breakwater for young children and a separate cove for watersports fans, of which there are a few in my family. It is definitely a sea lover's paradise! The sheltered bay is great for little kids as the water is really shallow, while there are plenty of loungers around the seafront for those... more

we found this Hotel on the Go North website and took a chance , we were pleasantly surprised, the approach is via a fairly steep downward hill , but once there it's lovely.Room was very comfortable with a full Sea view and Air conditioning, Breakfast offered a good selection , though we ate out each evening, The kids loved the beach , the water was crystal clear, staff at the hotel very freindly . Great value for money but due to location , Car hire would be handy.... more

Ada Beach is a lovely hotel, clean, comfortable and welcoming. We booked a week's holiday through GoNorthCyprus and got a great deal, Gary made our reservations and assured us we wouldn't have a room with a pool view – I'm a light sleeper and worried the noise in the evenings would disturb me. As requested, when we arrived, we were shown to our lovely room away from the pool with a balcony and a sea view. We ate out most of the time but were impressed with the choice at breakfast and enjoyed the... more

We were looking for a good value beach break in Cyprus and booked in at the Ada Beach Hotel through Sue at Go North Cyprus, who got us a great deal. We found Ada Beach to be a clean and comfortable three-star hotel with wonderful sea views, our room was cleaned every day and the staff were polite and helpful. Situated right on the beach, the hotel has a fantastic pool area right on the sand, which we enjoyed every day despite the time of year! Because we travelled out of season the hotel was not... more

There's nothing worse that reading a load of bad reviews just after you've booked your holiday! I even contacted Go North Cyprus to see about cancelling but the lovely lady I spoke to reassured me that she had been to the Ada Beach herself and didn't understand the negative reviews. I decided to bite the bullet and go as planned. Light was limited so I would recommend taking a torch if you are arriving at night. The hotel looked in darkness but works on sensory lighting during the night. We were... more

Paid approx £50 per night for half board. The hotel was tatty and tired looking, Some of the staff were good some really weren't very motivatedThe bed sheets seemed to give us a rash- possibly washing powder used at the laundry? The food was at best mediocre, we decided to eat out every night and the difference in the food at the restaurants in town which were very reasonably priced and our hotel was marked.however, neatly all of this could be forgiven because the sunbathing area right on the edge... more

Up until now, I have never felt the need to complain about any hotel that I have stayed at with my partner. The photo's on Ada Beach Hotel website are deceiving and it is nothing what they look like. We spent 2 awful weeks at this run down Hotel. Room was very dated, shower kept going from cold to boiling hot, bedside lampshade was just about being held on with a couple of sticking plasters. The outside left a lot to be desired, lots of rusty and broken items around. Broken boards on walk ways,... more

The reason we decided to test out the Ada Beach Hotel was simply that the previous 2 hotels had casinos attached and we're definitely not a gambling couple being in our 60's and not even playing the lottery! Anyhow, let's start with the positives – these being the location and the sea views. The location is simply fantastic even if it is a bit out on a limb from any of the main facilities you might want while away on holiday. The sea views, well, these are exactly what you'd want in a hotel when... more

I've previously been to North Cyprus and found it to be a beautiful, unspoilt area. This time, my husband and I stayed at the Ada Beach Hotel. We paid a fair amount of money for a 3 star hotel and on face value, the place seemed worth the money. However, once we scratched the surface, we found a lot of things to be lacking. It is obvious that the Ada Beach has been through some fairly recent renovations. The rooms have a lick of paint and some new furniture, but it seems that the owners have done... more

The hotel we stayed in (the Ada) was surprisingly good considering what we paid to stay there. All of the staff were friendly throughout our stay and managed to call us by name (a feat I found especially impressive because I have serious difficulty remembering names and faces when first meeting people.) There are a relatively small number of rooms at the Ada, so we got to know the other visitors quite quickly. It's always nice to make friends abroad, particularly with people who have stayed in your... more

I spent 3 weeks at the Ada Beach Hotel in September, and I can honestly say that it is such a beautiful hotel. It is centrally located with exquisite modern decor. There are several lovely areas to choose for sunbathing; the pool, the deck or on the glorious white sandy beach. Starting at 8am there is an authentic Turkish buffet ready to feast on. At lunchtime there is a good menu of bar snacks, and an evening menu providing options of a la carte or half board. The staff are both polite and courteous,... more

My sister has had a particularly bad year with lots going wrong for her so to avoid the inevitable Christmas blues I decided I'd plan a secret trip away to somewhere she'd like to visit for the Christmas period. I know she's visited North Cyprus before and really enjoyed it so I chose to book here again. After a lot of searching the web and reading a few reviews I found a hotel called the Ada hotel. They were pretty busy in terms of availability but were very obliging and I booked a room for us.... more

I work for a multinational based in London and as part of my role I'm required to travel to North Cyprus on a regular basis. Normally it's only a few days im there but sometimes if the deals and negotiations drag out longer than expected I can be delayed quite substantially. In January 2016 I visited Northern Cyprus and my host put me up in a hotel called the Ada. Normally I wouldn't care one bit as long as it was clean and secure (as I carry a lot of computer equipment around with me). However... more

I stayed at the Ada hotel in North Cyprus, accompanied by my wife and three children who are between the ages of 11 and 17 at the end of December 2015. We were all very impressed with the accommodation. It was extremely luxurious, comfortable and clean. The hotel has a nice swimming pool which the kids loved. The only thing that I have to complain about was the weather, it was not the best, but I suppose that was due to the time of year that we went. There was a nice local beach equipped with all... more

We stayed at the Ada Hotel recently for several days. Due to the low rate we got on the room, I expected it to be not as nice as some, but I was pleasantly surprised. In the lobby, the floors are marble and there's an impressive-looking staircase and some fabulous artwork on the walls. Our room was hotel-room standard, but clean and fresh. The bathroom was extra large though, and appeared to be newly redecorated, as it looked ultra modern. We had working air-conditioning (a luxury in some hotels... more

I felt a little let down after visiting the Ada Hotel. My husband and I stayed here recently and although most about it was good, we felt they were misleading with their advertising. This place is definitely not what we expected. We were led to believe that it was more of an upscale, luxurious type of hotel, when in reality it's very small and far from luxurious. Our room reminded me of a discount hotel chain, although it was adequate for us. The bathroom was miniscule - very disappointing.... more

My friend and I flew to Northern Cyprus and stayed at the Ada Hotel recently for two nights and I have to admit, I was pretty impressed. Not only with the hotel, but with the beauty of the surrounding countryside. The mountains are truly spectacular and the hillside is covered in forestland. The foliage is lush and green. It's quite impressive. I couldn't stop admiring the view. The shoreline is pretty too, and just as impressive as the rest of the view, with pretty beaches and tropical foliage.... more

My wife decided to book a break to get away from a really busy summer (we run a restaurant) and as we'd never visited, north cyprus was our choice. We spent just under a fortnight at the Ada Beach Hotel this September. I have to say it was a delightful place to rest and relax! We feel that the location was near perfect and the decor of the Ada was clearly carefully chosen to a high spec and a great standard. We both really enjoy swimming and relaxing in the pool so this is an area we particularly... more

My partner and I visited Northern Cyprus this year and stayed at the Ada Hotel. The area where our hotel was located is incredibly picturesque, with many tree-laden slopes and mountain views to enjoy. Thankfully many of these could be seen from the Ada.We were very impressed by the interior decoration and overall presentation of the hotel, and clearly a lot of careful thought has gone into making the place looking as luxurious as possible- there are marble floors and canvasses all over the walls... more

We'd never been to Turkey before and we were very impressed. We liked the hotel and it has superb amenities. You can even watch a film in the hotel cinema, which has a bar. It's only a few minutes walk from the town and we never felt threatened. The décor and design are tastefully done and we particularly liked the pool area and the dining room. If you're used to something more pretentious, then you won't get that here. The Turkish style architecture and interior was to our tastes and it was obvious... more

My husband and I had been staying in the south of the island and we decided to see what the northern Turkish side was like. It's more historic on this side and greener too which we really enjoyed. The consensus is that this is the best part of the island following the spoils of battle from the Turkish invasion in 1974. My hubby enjoys histroy so it suited him to a tee! Upon arrival at the hotel, my husband and I were very impressed with the Ada hotel. We'd booked based on location rather than the hotel's standards and therefore were expecting ample accommodation offset by stunning scenery. We were right on count… the scenery was stunning, but the hotel was even better than expected. The décor wasn't lavish but it was clear that the hotel take pride in keeping it clean and well presented. We've just returned from a week's holiday at the Hotel Ada in Kyrenia. We landed at Ercan airport and took the coach to the hotel which tool around an hour.
