Lovely family run hotel we found on the gonorthcyprus website. Booked a week away for my husband and I and we've returned with an excellent impression and a desire to go back! We stayed in a nice clean room that was very comfortable, we slept well. Delicious meals, always plenty to eat and nicely cooked. Great traditional local breakfast of cheeses, olives, breads, fruit etc. Nice setting behind the mountains, very picturesque and the pool is clean and inviting. The staff are lovely, so welcoming... more

If you like to feel right at home during your holidays then Lapida Garden is just the place. I booked for a week's stay with my husband through gonorthcyprus, Gary in sales got us a good price and made all the arrangements for us, so we didn't have to lift a finger. The staff when we arrived were so very welcoming, the atmosphere is laid back and you can tell it's family run. Mountains behind and just ten minutes from the sea on foot, the hotel has a great location and is in itself an interesting... more

My wife and I got a good deal from gonorthcyprus to visit Lapida Garden, which we found on the website. We liked what we saw from the pictures and reviews and sure enough, when we arrived, we found the hotel very pleasant. It's in a peaceful spot and has a very relaxed ambience, the family who runs the hotel are friendly and very attentive, they gave us a super cookery lesson where we learned how to make local breads and we enjoyed sampling the fruit from the trees in the gardens, too. Wonderful... more

What a treat to find this gem of a hotel, we'd never been to this part of Cyprus before but Gary at gonorthcyprus recommended the hotel to us and we were taken with it, not to mention the superb price. We were made to feel so welcome at Lapida Garden, it's got a lovely homely feel not like the much larger impersonal hotels you find elsewhere. We had a comfortable room and the pool area is pleasant and well kept. The food is tasty and cooked very well and the gardens are attractive. The host couple... more

We arranged to stay at Lapida Garden Hotel through gonorthcyprus to get away from the miserable British weather and had a lovely time here. We were welcomed warmly by the owners and given a comfortable room, which wasn't the most modern but it was very clean and had a small balcony. We stayed half board and really enjoyed the food, which was full of flavour. The menu is set every night but this wasn't a problem, we enjoyed everything we ate here and the meals are clearly home cooked. There are tranquil... more

After reading the reviews we didn't hesitate in booking a break at Lapida Garden through gonorthcyprus. We hoped we would have a lovely stay and we did - the setting was very pretty and peaceful in a residential area, away from the main road and about half an hour from the centre of Kyrenia. The hotel is family run and everyone is really welcoming, the cook is the hotel owner's mother and she really is talented, such wonderful food! Very clean and tidy, nice terrace area and wonderfully large pool... more

We've just returned from an enjoyable and relaxing break at Lapida Garden, which we booked through gonorthcyprus. The break was excellent value and we felt we should really leave a review as this is the third time we've used the company to stay in north Cyprus now! Lapida is a small, friendly, family-run hotel, very clean with pleasant but simple rooms. The gardens are beautiful and full of fruit trees, you get to enjoy the spoils every day! The owner and his mother are such warm and friendly people,... more

I booked a break at the Lapida with GoNorthCyprus on the recommendation of Gary in sales and had a wonderful time. If you're looking for lots for your money then this place is perfect, it's only a mid-range hotel but you won't find friendlier staff and the setting is beautiful. Although fairly basic, the hotel is very homely and welcoming, the room is comfortable and the mountain views are awe inspiring. There are attractive gardens outside and around the pool, which is very clean - the whole place... more

The Lapida Hotel is a delight. Sit in the shade of the many lemon trees drinking Mary's freshly made lemonade. Have a cooling swim in the pool with views up to the nearby Five Finger Mountains. Arrange a trip up into the mountains with Fethi, the owner, and walk in the pine woods with a wonderful pine scent before having lunch at the small restaurant All this is at a small hotel with incredible personal attention where nothing seems to be too much trouble Our room had a small balcony with views... more

It is not that easy to really discover another culture if you are staying in a hotel, but we loved Lapida Garden Hotel as it allowed us to experience an authentic taste of Cypriot life. This quiet family establishment that we found on GoNorthCyprus.com is situated in Lapta, away from the larger resorts along the coast. This turned out to be a blessing, as we not only had exquisite views of the mountains and sea, but we got to enjoy a really lovely family atmosphere we would not have found elsewhere.... more

We spent a week at the Lapida Garden Hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Booked through GoNorthCyprus.com as they had the best rates and the transfers were included, which was a blessing. We found the setting of the hotel very appealing and pretty, it's in a peaceful location and was just what we hoped for. It's fantastic to be able to see the ocean in the distance and you can reach the beach by car in under ten minutes, needless to say we went almost every day! Our room was traditional... more

A small family hotel that make you feel part of their family. Beautiful gardens in which you can sit to your hearts content and eat fresh fruit from the trees. Very friendly and attentive staff. Well cooked fresh local food every evening, cooked by the proprietor. Ten minutes walk to the beach and the local dolmus bus will stop outside to take you into Kyrenia. Everything clean and nothing is too much trouble. No entertainment which is what I wanted. Plenty of that available in the taverns in the... more

Our stay at Lapida Garden Hotel was faultless, we couldn't recommend them enough. It's a lovely little family-run hotel, very clean and well-kept with simple décor, nothing too garish. We travelled as a family (mum, dad and two kids) and really enjoyed our time at the hotel, especially the amazing mountain views and the gorgeous setting among fruit trees. Not too far from the nearest beach and the hotel provided a minibus service into Kyrenia. We got an excellent deal by booking through GoNorthCyprus... more

We booked our weeks holiday at the Lapida after a recommendation from my brother who had stayed.Fethi and Mary made us so welcome and couldn't do enough for us.Our room overlooked the tranquil garden and beyond to the sea, very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The shower took a while to get hot as we were furthest away from the boiler, we got there in the end.Mary is the cook and she produces good honest Turkish Cypriot meals. My wife is vegetarian and Mary took this into consideration, where... more

If you want a difference to the ordinary well, this is the one to stay at. Not too far from the sea or sand. Mountain views and has all your amenities. Simple in all it's operations but wonderfully managed. We would recommend it on a drop of a hat. Pool although not large as in photo but enough for anyone's needs. Helpful staff and where else would you get a personalised attention from the CEO, manager and staff. We found it hard to fault it.The only think I can fault would be the lack of entertainment... more

I only booked to stay at the Lapida Garden Hotel because I wanted to visit North Cyprus last minute and there wasn't much availability left. I chose this hotel because Mandy at GoNorthCyprus said it was a small, family run hotel and that appealed to me. I am so happy I booked the Lapida because it was a lovely little haven, in beautiful surroundings. The accommodation at the Lapida Garden Hotel was quite basic, with simple décor and furnishings. The bathroom could have done with modernising but everything... more

I had a lovely stay at the Lapida garden hotel. It's a small, family run hotel and its owners are really friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms are nicely decorated and very clean, with good facilities. The best thing about my room was the beautiful mountain view. It really was breathtaking. The hotel food was tasty, with a traditional continental style breakfast, full of fresh fruit (I absolutely hate hotels which don't offer fruit so this was a big plus!) Although I stayed on a bed and breakfast... more

I booked my stay at the Lapida Garden Hotel through Sue at GoNorthCyprus.com. I told him that I didn't enjoy staying at large chain hotels and preferred a more personal touch and he recommended the Lapida. I cannot thank Sue enough as it was a wonderful hotel in the most amazing location.Set in the town of Lapta, the Lapida Hotel has amazing mountain views. The hotel grounds are filled with fruit trees and beautiful plants which have been very well kept. The hotel is very small but very well presented... more

I have mixed opinions about the Lapida Garden Hotel. It's a small family run hotel and I have to begin by saying the two owners are an asset to the hotel. They are so kind and friendly that they obviously take pride in their hotel and want their guests to enjoy their stay. However, there were some other elements that didn't quite meet our expectations. The hotel rooms at the Lapida Garden are a good size and kept very clean. I wasn't too keen on the décor but everything was comfortable. As for the... more
