High Life is a small but perfectly formed hotel we had the fortune of stumbling on on the gonorthcyrpus website. We booked with Gary and he organised our transfers too, which eased the whole process for us. The hotel staff made us feel right at home with the friendly atmosphere and attention to detail, they really are excellent. The hotel is in a great location just a few minutes from the harbour right by the sea. Our room was large and comfortable, very quiet, and the food was excellent, we really... more

My husband and I stayed at the High Life Hotel for a week on a deal we found via the gonorthcyprus website. The break offered excellent value in a number of ways: small but lovely hotel with excellent staff, food cooked to a very good standard, everything clean, tidy and well kept. The ambience is relaxed and the staff are very attentive - nothing is too much trouble. There's a lovely terrace overlooking the sea and you can get to the water via the access a bit lower down. Nice pool area with sunbeds... more

Have just spent a glorious week at High Life Hotel , Gary from Go North proved a font of knowledge in selecting the right Hotel for us , quiet location right on the sea front, a couple of restaurants within easy walk and very comfortable surroundings , Our room on the 1st floor (211) , very spacious, tea and Coffee making facilities and a fridge, the bathroom very plush and appeared new.The beach is not the biggest but suited our needs and there are others within a 5 minute drive .... more

We had a very pleasant stay at the High Life Hotel in Kyrenia. We booked a week away with our agent GoNorthCyprus and enjoyed every day. Our room was large and spotless, the staff were attentive and helpful and the atmosphere overall is one of peace and relaxation - not the place for partygoers but ideal for those who want to get away from it all and relax. Beautiful sea view from the terrace and very quiet as it's adults only. You can get into town in about ten minutes by taxi and the fares are... more

This is a very special boutique hotel. It is in a delightful location looking over the sea, with easy access to the lovely warm Mediterranean Sea. The rooms were big and luxurious, the food was outstanding and the staff were charming and helpful. We were members of a group of 12 (following a nearby wedding), and we will long treasure memories of relaxing on the terrace overlooking the sea telling each other that we had found a piece of heaven!... more

My husband and I stayed at the High Life Hotel for a week on the advice of Gary at GoNorthCyprus and we're so glad we did, we had a perfect holiday for a fantastic price. It's a very peaceful hotel, ideal for a couples-only break. The staff are warm and welcoming, we were made to feel right at home, and our room was comfortable and kept very clean. The hotel overlooks the sea and it's wonderful to be able to sit out on the deck area and hear the water below. Food is delicious, well cooked and tasty,... more

My husband and I recently returned to the High Life Hotel after a gap of about five years, only to find the place is even better than we remembered. We're both in our 60s and we hadn't travelled abroad for some years due to ill health but we were after a relaxing break and the High Life was wonderful when we visited in the past. The staff are lovely, so welcoming, and we love the small size of the hotel, which gives it an intimate ambience. Our room was clean and large and the food is fresh and... more

We've just returned from a wonderful out of season break at High Life Holiday Village. We booked a week away through gonorthcyprus as we've used them before, this was our first time at High Life though and we will be back! We were definitely swung by the reviews describing the hotel as peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed after a busy year. The staff were lovely and very friendly, they work well together and are always polite. Our room was comfortable and always kept clean and the hotel had... more

Very pleasant little hotel with a family atmosphere, stayed for a week recently after booking through gonorthcyprus. We were made welcome by the staff, who are really friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Our room was clean and comfortable with a nice little balcony overlooking the pool. We had a dip every day, it was so relaxing and peaceful. There's a lovely terrace overlooking the sea and grassy lawns and flowers surrounding the main hotel, all very nice to look at. The location... more

On my parents recommendation we booked the Highlife Holiday village , it's on a sea front location with a cooling breeze that was welcome . The room was large and airy , with what looked like a brand new bathroom , we stayed B+B to make the most of the wonderful restaurants, even though we had a car it really wasn't needed as there is a lovely restaurant called Tanners a few minutes walk away .An added bonus for us, the hotel is adults only and the perfect place to unwind.... more

We've just returned from our break at High Life Holiday Village, it was the second time we've stayed, both times booked through gonorthcyprus. It had been a couple of years since our last visit so we didn't know what to expect really as places change but High Life was just as relaxing and restful as we remembered. It's not glitzy by any stretch of the imagination but it's comfortable and the staff are so lovely. We did notice some parts of the hotel were freshly renovated so can only assume the... more

What a place, beautiful views of the sea from the hotel and very relaxing. We stayed in February after booking with GoNorthCyprus.com. I had read the reviews so I was expecting the hotel to be relatively nice, if a little basic. The rooms are quite functional but comfortable and very clean, with fresh linen. The views are amazing from the terrace, where breakfast is served, we would recommend upgrading the breakfast, it is only a matter of pence for a better meal. The hotel is not too far from the... more

We had a wonderful time at the High Life Holiday Village recently. Very warm and welcoming staff and a beautiful setting with the terrace overlooking the sea. Our room was clean and the linen was changed regularly too. We really enjoyed the breakfast every day and upgraded to an English breakfast for very little extra. As the hotel isn't far from the town centre, we were out and about during the day so we ate at lots of local places at lunch and tea time. There is a nice restaurant not far away... more

Initially I booked this hotel based on price and location just needing a base for a few nights whilst trying to sort out the Villa that I'm having built nearby , Gary at Go North lives in the area so was able to recommend from a personal point of view, another company had recommended the Sempati as being best for me ( whilst there we did drive to the Sempati and lo and behold it turned out to be a 45 minute drive away ), compared to the 4 minute drive from the High Life to the Villa. We were given... more

We are on a cycling tour of Cyprus and are staying here at the High Life Hotel for 3 Nights , blink and you'll miss it from the main road, almost hidden away but with the best views ever, the room that we are in ( large enough to get the Bikes in too ), has by the looks of it been freshly decorated and the stylish bathroom is certainly new, the beds are v comfortable and a welcome change to a lilo and sleeping bag !.Incredible value for money , there's a small beach and a lovely little restaurant... more

My fiancé whisked me away for a short romantic break in Cyprus and we stayed at the High Life Hotel, which we booked through GoNorthCyprus.com. We wanted to share our experiences as we were so impressed by our stay here. Firstly, the setting is gorgeous, there's a mountain backdrop and the hotel has wonderful landscaped grounds. The pool area is lovely and it's very quiet - perfect for a romantic getaway, and there's a beach nearby too. The hotel itself is really clean and well-kept and the staff... more

We recently returned from the High Life Hotel, where we had a lovely family holiday. The break was good value for the four of us and we booked through GoNorthCyprus.com, so our transfers were included too. The hotel is clean and well-kept and our room was perfectly adequate for a budget break. You can tell the place is family-run, the staff are all very warm and welcoming. There's a great swimming pool with kids' area, which the children loved, and the beach is very close by. The hotel is situated... more

My boyfriend booked a stay at the High Life Holiday Village as a cheap summer getaway. We'd not had much time to save so couldn't afford anything lavish. However, when we expected a 3 star hotel and got 4 star standard, we were really impressed. The High Life was really beautiful, particularly the terrace on which you can eat your meals or just have a relaxing drink. The views were stunning and it was really romantic. It certainly encouraged us to eat there in the evening when our tariff was bed... more

I wouldn't normal categorise myself as a family holiday type of person, but I had an invite to take a short trip with my friend and her children as her partner had to pull out at very late notice and she didn't want to disappoint the children. I don't mind saying that having known nothing about the hotel, I was anxious as to what sort of place it would be. Thankfully I was relieved to see that the High Life Holiday Village was quite suitable for all of us. It wasn't anything fantastic but it was... more

I've just come back after spending a fornight in the Highlife Hotel. The manager, Beha and his family who run the hotel are all extremely nice people and did everything they could to improve our stay. The view from the terrace where diners are seated are wonderful. The pool area is very clean and poolside accessories such as loungers are plentiful and available for free.Meals are reasonably good, but I didn't like paying £3.00 extra for English breakfast. If you are visiting on half board, you will... more

I am not usually a "Holiday Village" type of person, but I went with my sister and her family (2 kids under 5, and 1 long-suffering partner), which was an experience in itself! So I guess we were looking for two different types of holidays, and the High Life actually managed to make us all happy for most of the time!Hotel room was nice if nothing special, clean and everything worked. Bit scuffed at edges, but just fine for a holiday where we spent most of our days outside. We all were on half board... more
