Acapulco Beach Club Hotel Review - 95 of 127 Reviews

Arrived late on 19th. Room looked like it had been used as only 1 bath towel and no bath or basin plugs. Bed covers looked like someone had been lying/sitting on them. Didn't complain as too late and tired. The following day towels sorted but still no plugs. Couldn't find a sunbed by pool, on beach or on grassed area: sat on wall.21st saw people reserving beds at 6.30 AM so dashed down to do the same. After breakfast my towels had been removed by other guests so had to look elsewhere: found beds without umbrella.Went up to room at 4.30PM. Room not made up. Reported and was sorted later. Still no plugs for bathroom.22nd. Got up and reserved beds at 6.30 AM and had a good day. A plug was supplied which fitted the bath only and was caked in limescale.23rd.Reserved beds and umbrella on grassed area at just after 6.00AM (last one) Had a good day Reported the hair dryer did not work. Was fixed promptly.24th. Reserved beds on grassed area at 5.50AM. One person reserving multiple beds and umbrellas for friends etc.Went up to room at 5.40PM to find it was not made up. Reported this and it was done promptly. Still no plug for the basin.25th. Reserved beds at just before 6.00AM (now an essential routine) on grassed area. Had a good day. Still no basin plug.Asked to speak to hotel manager about all the issues. Reception said this would be arranged for the following morning before breakfast.26th. Reservation of beds on the grassed area now starting earlier Was down at just after 5.00AM. Checked with reception re; meeting. Nobody knew anything about it, Saw guest relations lady and outlined all the problems. Said perhaps we could stay in room late the following day as we were leaving late as a helpful gesture.Was not possible but we were given a free lunch as the best that could be offered. Both guest relations ladies we dealt with were very helpful but were unable to do much to help due to overstretched resources and heavy demand.
