My husband whisked me away on a fantastic break to Almond Holiday Village on the good advice of friends. We've visited Almond Holiday Village twice now and both times we've had a wonderful experience. GoNorthCyprus handled our booking and transfers very efficiently as always and we were hoping our break would be as good as the one we had two years ago. Lovely place, we stayed in a bungalow that was well equipped and had a glorious countryside view. Our bungalow was cleaned every day and we were given fresh towels, it was also nicely decorated. The grounds are beautiful, flowery and well stocked, weed-free - the owners clearly care about the hotel's appearance and it makes it a pleasure to stroll outside. We booked a week at Almond Holiday Village with gonorthcyprus after finding the website online. We were impressed by the reviews and couldn't wait to take our daughter to north Cyprus. It's not always easy finding a holiday that can accommodate a large family of lots of ages, but somehow Almond Holiday Village managed to do just that! An idyllic holiday village, family owned and run . We stayed in a cottage which was ideal for us . We wanted our own balcony/patio , as the hotel only had Juliet balconies, and we like to sit out -either in sun or shade , and in the evening after dinner . Just returned from 10 nights at the Almond holiday village. Cant fault this hotel at all. Spotlessly clean, towels changed daily we have never had this in a 5 star hotel let alone 3 star, bedding changed every two days. Gardens are immaculate. Staff cant do enough for you. What a lovely place to stay. If going to North Cyprus then this is the place to stay. A lovely warm welcome will meet you. Very much a family owned and run hotel, nothing is too much trouble. Just returned from my first 10 day stay at the Almond Holiday Village. What can I say that others haven't? Fantastic service, lovely surroundings and excellent food. No morning battles for a sun lounger by the pool - plenty to go round even when some residents take 2 or 3 mattresses per lounger - why??? Only downside to our visit (which incidentally was nothing to do with the hotel) was a Friday and Saturday night party at a nearby bar which kept us awake with rave music and karaoke until 1.30... more
My 22 year old son and I stayed here for one week, our first trip to Northern Cyprus. When we arrived we had been allocated a double bed by mistake, but the staff swiftly moved us to the villa next door, with twins, with no problem whatsoever. The Kyrenian Mountain Trail passes through Alsancak (about a 15-minute walk) so some walks start almost literally on the doorstep. It's easy (and cheap) to catch a local minibus into Kyrenia and then get a taxi to Bellapais or Karaman. This really is a beautiful hotel with distinctive style rooms. The setting is perfect, nestling at the foot of the mountains. We returned home a week ago from 2 weeks at The Almond Holiday Village! This fabulous little hotel is indeed fabulous! This really is an oasis with a stunning backdrop of the mountains and tropical gardens with fruit and olive trees throughput. I is a place that oozes peace and tranquility where you can totally relax and unwind in the sunshine! We have just had an excellent weeks stay at Almond. The small hotel is unique in terms of the service you receive from the kind family that own it. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. The grounds are beautiful and there is even a play area and some animals to keep the kids entertained. In terms of location it is ideal. A number of restaurants and a couple of beaches are walking distance, plus you can easily get a Dolmus from the main road which will take you to various places for about £1 each.... more

We do not normally do reviews but this hotel is more than worthy of the time it takes to write one. We first decided to go to this holiday village because a friend of ours had said that he'd been, and that he would recommend it to anybody. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Almond Village, having opted for a hotel room rather than a villa. The room was pleasant and comfortable, and the carton of milk for the tea was a really nice touch. The pool area and surrounding orchards are lovely-remember to visit the ostrich. We came here on half board in the summer. As we had arrived late and out of hours, we asked for something to eat and they gave us a snack with no problem.Our bed was extremely comfortable. I usually struggle to get a good night's sleep in a hotel but not this time. Also, the room could not have been cleaner. November is certainly the time to be in North Cyprus. The water is warm, the sun shining, and enough guests to keep a single man happy. Desperate for a sunshine break that wouldn't bust our budget, my boyfriend and I chose North Cyprus for the exchange rate (Turkish lira, not Euro) and then booked the Almond Village because of its good reviews. This hotel is ideal for anyone with a young family. They have a huge pool, and a shallow children's pool which is great for small children. The layout makes it easy to keep an eye on them too and there was always an area of shade near the pool if one of my kids got too hot. We went in June, so it was really busy with other families.
