Good hotel but never a 5 star with those shocking uneven pathways, non existing gardens and tiny cups for your breakfast coffee, for which you'll have to risk your life queuing!

Acapulco enjoys very good location on a private sandy beach. There are also rather good swimming pools in the ground and plenty of sun loungers. Reasonable size rooms are spotlessly clean and piping hot water is very much to standard. Wardrobes have enough space and hangers and air conditioning cools the room nicely.

Large restaurant is in a separate building and you'd better watch those bumpy pathways walking there! Food was varied and tasty at dinners. However no fruit juice at breakfast just some watered down synthetic concoction. Freshly pressed fruit juice is available at extra cost and if you don't mind queuing for it. Coffee came in tiniest cups out of single machine shared by thousands of guests all rushing about and some pushing and shoving seems the norm. Tiny cups are a joke for your morning java, so more pushing and shoving for refills is a must.

Turkish guests seem to enjoy some preferential treatment from staff, admittedly there is no language problem there. Staff is generally friendly, however not all speak English.

The hotel employs an English customer relations person for general advice on local customs and any hotel matters.

A hotel bus will take you to Kyrenia (about 8km) for just 2 tl. It is a small bus and there could be too many passengers queuing for it. Sadly there is very little entertainment in the evening for a hotel of this size just a singer with piano accompaniment and a casino, if you are into gambling.
