We've stayed at several hotels in North Cyprus but return again and again to Bellapais Gradens for the excellent warm welcome and attentive service we receive year in, year out. We first found the hotel on the gonorthcyprus website and were impressed by the reviews. It's safe to say that we enjoyed our first trip so much several years ago that we have returned three times since. We always get a great deal from gonorthcyprus, including transfers, and we love staying at the hotel. It's not OTT luxurious... more

We booked a week away at Bellapais Gardens with our agent gonorthcyprus just after Christmas. We were definitely getting a bit of the winter blues and having been to Bellapais before we knew it'd be the perfect place to relax and enjoy some beautiful scenery. It's a lovely quiet hotel set in scenic gardens with fantastic views from the mountains over the sea. The accommodation is comfortable and welcoming, the staff are friendly and happy and the food is amazing. Just brilliant for a peaceful post-Christmas... more

We've just returned for our holiday at Bellapais Gardens, which we booked with gonorthcyprus, and what a lovely time we had. The hotel has a fantastic setting in the mountains, near to an old ruined monastery - it's very atmospheric and wonderful to look out over the scenery from the balcony. The hotel itself is characterful and luxurious with many unique touches. Staff were friendly and attentive, however English levels could be improved among the waiting on staff. This didn't affect our stay though.... more

We've just returned from a very restful break at Bellapais Gardens, booked with gonorthcyprus. It was our first visit and we were very excited after reading the glowing reviews. Sure enough, we too enjoyed our time here. The staff were warm and welcoming and our room was very well kept and comfortable. The gardens are pleasant and the pool area is spotless. As you'll know if you read the reviews, the restaurant is something of a local gem, it gets booked up quickly and with good reason - the food... more

We read the reviews of Hotel Bellapais on the gonorthcyprus website so we were really looking forward to our stay here and we weren't disappointed! Not only did we get a fantastic price from GNC at booking, we also believe we received exceptional value for money from start to finish during our holiday. First of all the staff are really welcoming and make you feel right at home. Secondly, the accommodation is lovely, we had a villa with a balcony which was very clean and overlooked beautiful greenery.... more

Beautiful boutique hotel, I went recently with my husband on an anniversary trip. We booked with gonorthcyprus, they were very helpful and found us a good price on the hotel, as well as sorting out transfers. The hotel has a lovely location, surrounded by trees and greenery up on the mountain side. It's rustic and charming with a lot of native touches in the textiles and decor - I like to get a feel for the country I'm staying in rather than staying in an impersonal hotel with no character. The... more

If you're looking for a secluded beauty spot for your next holiday we can't recommend Bellapais Gardens enough. This was our first break in Cyprus and we wanted to make sure everything went smoothly so we booked with GoNorthCyprus.com, as they are specialists in the area. We were really happy with the price, especially with transfers included! The setting of the hotel is breathtaking at the foot of the old abbey and the hotel itself is equally charming with lots of rustic features. Very welcoming... more

This was our 3rd visit to the Bellapais Gardens , this time booked through Go North Cyprus who were able to offer us Club class with BA without an issue and a PRIVATE Taxi transfer , The hotel is just as we remember it , the food, ambience and service still first rate , this year though we noticed a bus service down into Kyrenia, the few concerts at the Abbey that we did enjoy were only a few minutes walk away. Kyrenia is slowly changing but still retains it's traditional charm.... more

I found Hotel Bellapais Gardens on the GoNorthCyprus website and was instantly in love. I love the olde worlde charm of the place, yet despite its rustic charm, the hotel was well appointed for modern comforts. We visited in May and I have to say that all my hopes were completely met – the hotel was unique and attractive, a perfect combination of old and new, and we were very warmly welcomed by the staff. Both the restaurant and swimming pool offered superb views and we enjoyed every meal we ate... more

What an idyllic location and very warm welcome. The accommodation was comfortable and clean with spectacular views; each room private with its own balcony. The setting for the restaurant and swimming pool are both superb; the former with views down to the coast and the latter with a view up to the Bellapais Abbey. The food and service were of a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble. We are planning our next trip!... more

March in the UK is still grey, cold and miserable, and it's a treat to wake up to sunshine every day. We always take a winter break around this time of year and fancied North Cyprus for a change. We were told to use the gonorthcyprus website and we are so glad we did. Not having been before we rang the free number and spoke to a lovely guy who couldn't have been more helpful. He answered all our questions about a couple of hotels we were interested in and booked the Bellapais Gardens on the spot.... more

My wife booked a surprise visit to North Cyprus through Gary for our 25th wedding anniversary and we had the fortune of staying at the Hotel Bellapais Gardens. The whole stay from start to finish was just sensational. I've already promised that we'll return for her 50th birthday. I'm really keen on history, including religious history, so for the hotel to be set in the mountains, near Bellapais Abbey is literally perfect. Although I have to say, we found it really hard to leave the hotel and go... more

We stayed at Hotel Bellapais Gardens at the end of June and first few days of July 2009. We had an unexpected late arrival and someone was there waiting for us with a snack and two beers. What a great welcome! We loved our room which was two story with a living area and bathroom downstairs and a big bedroom with a balcony upstairs. Very clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was small but adequate.Breakfast everyday was up at the main restaurant area and a great selection made even more enjoyable... more

The hotel is perched in the Five Finger Mountains, so it has amazing views down to the coast beyond. Its about a 5 minutes taxi ride to the outskirts of Kyrenia, so I didn't feel cut off either.Inside, it feels a weird combination of holiday villa and ski resort, with a stone-walled lounge with log fire, yet rattan furniture and windows without heavy drapes. Although the restaurant sliding doors/windows stayed firmly shut against what could be a chilly wind, the sunshine poured in and the views... more
