We've just come back from an amazing week in Kyrenia after staying at the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel. From start to finish the holiday was superb, with the hotel being one of the main reasons. The staff went out of their way to help you, no matter what your request!

The rooms were spacious and well equipped with an excellently stocked fridge. They were airy and spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the hotel.

The main highlight of the hotel was its excellent choice of fresh, and clearly local, food. We would have had to have stayed at least two weeks to have sample the majority of it. What we also liked was the fact that the food contained a variety and therefore not just meals to please the typical British holiday maker.

The hotel's entertainment was good, with a pianist in the bar area and live music and dancing. It wasn't cheesy or tacky and included more traditional items. We were really pleased that it wasn't karaoke or cabaret!

The local area surrounding the hotel was beautiful also, as was the hotel's beach and again, all were spotlessly clean. We would be delighted to come back, particularly to see if they kept up the same standards during the peak warmer season.
