My girlfriend and I only chose to stay here two nights as we were on a mini tour of Northern Cyprus and had planned to stay at 4 hotels during our 3 week tour of the region over the Christmas period this year. We booked in so quickly and easily it was a huge relief after our tiring journey that day. The rooms were very high quality, had more than expected space available and were actually quite charming. The staff helped us to our room and made us feel at ease without that awkward feeling of waiting for a tip! (we did tip by the way!). The food in the Bella View hotel restaurant was delicious. There was always plenty of variety and it was always timely served, very tasty and steaming hot (my girlfriend worries about eating hotel food that isn't literally steaming hot!) We ate a la carte and were surprised at the portion sixes which were larger than the other North Cyprus hotels we'd previously stayed in. Like for like, we felt the food here was far better than anywhere else we'd stayed and this was a really nice touch for the Bella View. The breakfasts were nothing other than expected, a buffet with self service but plenty of fresh food and juices. We spent time in the local villages, namely Bellapais village and it was really interesting to explore on our own. One point to note however is that there did not appear to be many children here, so, although it didn't affect us at all, if you were looking at finding somewhere with a suitability for kids, the Bella View probably isn't the ideal place for you. That said, it's a great place to stay and we're giving it an A rating!
