Bella View Hotel Review - 18 of 38 Reviews

My wife and I had a wonderful stay and are already contemplating going back in the summer (if they have any rooms available.) We spoke to Mandy when we wanted to book and told her that we were keen to visit North Cyprus and were looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing. She totally understood what we wanted and the Bella View offered everything we were looking for.

Being a fairly small hotel, we found a greater level of customer service than we've had from large chain hotels. The staff literally could not do enough for us, even bringing out extra fruit at breakfast upon my wife's request. They were also really helpful in suggesting places to visit during our stay, including the stunning Bellapais Abbey.

Our hotel room was spacious with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains: it was quite surreal to be in a warm, seaside resort yet so close to such breathtaking scenery! The hotel grounds were also really beautiful and we spent many a morning having coffee on the terrace.

Food at the Bella View was really good. Breakfast offered a variety of hot and cold meals and as I said before, anything they didn't have, they were quiet happy to try and find. We particularly enjoyed eating out on the terrace on two of the warmer evenings during our stay. The food and variety was really excellent.

The only negative point I had about the hotel was that it is quiet far from the nearest town, Bellapais. The hotel does have a shuttle bus service but it isn't very frequent and was sometimes unreliable. Luckily, my wife and I enjoy walking so it wasn't a huge problem for us but on the hotter days, it did become a struggle to walk that far. I could imagine that in the summer it might be a lot more difficult!

Despite its isolated location, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Bella View to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday and nor would I hesitate to stay there again!
