My wife and I came to the Almond Holiday Village in the beginning of June for our annual holiday and we had a fabulous time. We came out of hours to find a welcome pack waiting for us with everything we needed to make a cup of tea or coffee, things we wouldn't have been able to get otherwise. My request for a hairdryer and pool towels, which I'd written about previously, had been processed and they were ready for us, in our room.

We have been coming to northern Cyprus for a long time, trying out different hotels. Previously, we've booked bed and breakfast and ate out for dinner. This time was different because once we'd had a dinner in the hotel, we wanted to eat there all the time, as it was so good. Breakfast was excellent too and there were lots of options. Our accommodation was in the 'mini villa' and it had a bedroom on the upper floor and a bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The air conditioning system more than held its own in the heat. The gardens at the resort are kept in excellent condition and the surrounding scenery is perfect.

It's a family owned hotel and they have trained their staff to be extra helpful. Any problem you may have will be sorted out lightning quick. We've been to so called luxury hotels in Cyprus but this beats many of them for service. Will recommend this hotel very highly.
