We stayed at The Almond Holiday Village from 16th - 30th October. From the moment we arrived at this beautifully maintained hotel we realised that we had stumbled on a little gem. Everything about this hotel is wonderful, from the pretty, immaculate gardens to the attentive staff and delicious food. We felt immediately relaxed and quickly settled down to enjoy our beautiful surrounding. We stayed in a one-bedroomed villa, which was immaculate and pretty, which had a living area, with small kitchen area, upstairs we had a lovely mezzanine bedroom. We also had a lovely little balcony where we enjoyed many relaxing evenings.

A family run business, it is clear that this family love their business and more importantly they love to welcome guests to, what is essentially, their home and you DO feel like a welcome guest, nothing is too much trouble. Yes it is a bit far out, but book a car at the hotel, we paid just £20 (all in) per day and managed to see a lot of the area, which is beautiful, don't miss Famagusta and Bellapais, they are a must! The roads are well laid out and easy to negotiate, even in the busiest areas. Also take a trip to Horseshoe bay, the views are breath-taking as you wind your way along the coastal road. If you don't want to drive, pick up a dolmus bus on the main road, for just 3.5tl you can travel into Kyrenia, (or stop anywhere along the main road) the buses run every five minutes so you don't have to wait around.

Believe all the wonderful reviews about this hotel and the wonderful owners and staff, we are glad we did and we will be returning as many of the guests we met have already done.
