“Our stay couldn't have been better!”
Our stay at the family run Onar Holiday Village couldn't have been better. We absolutely loved the relaxed atmosphere here, together with the traditional decor. It definitely felt as though we were staying with a Cypriot family, instead of at a lovely hotel.
Everywhere you look you'll find antiques from around the country, and the hotel's villas very much reflect an authentic Turkish Cypriot home, or at least what we imagined one to look like!
Although North Cyprus does have great weather all year round, it was lovely to find a hotel on GoNorthCyprus.com that had a heated inside pool, as well as outdoor ones. The pool at Onar Holiday Village even has a glass roof, making it feel quite luxurious. Perhaps unsurprisingly, we spent a lot of time at the spa, enjoying trying out the hamman and relaxing in the Jacuzzi. The hotel also has a reading room and library, so we could catch up on our holiday reading even when we had finished our books. An amazing place!
