“A relaxing week away”
When we found Onar Holiday Village on the GoNorthCyprus website we were swung right away by the reviews and booked a week's stay. We had a great time; the owner Mehmet is really friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself occupies a pleasant spot on the hillside, with truly wonderful views out over Girne. We had a very nice, clean and comfortable room and enjoyed the hotel's tranquil ambience. Towels were changed regularly, breakfast every day was very good and more than sufficient, we also had dinner at the linked hotel restaurant Chimera a couple of times and were impressed with the standard of cooking. There is a free hotel shuttle to take you around the area and it's a short and cheap taxi trip to the harbour. It's a great place for a cheap and relaxing break.
Liked — The owner is great, so friendly. Very clean and tidy, food nice, convenient services.
