Onar Holiday Village Review - 9 of 22 Reviews

All I can say is 'wow'! My family have just been on a wonderful holiday to Kyrenia, with a truly excellent hotel! We stayed at the Onar Holiday Village, which compared to many of the other Kyrenia hotels promised simple facilities at a really reasonable price. When we got there though, we quickly realised that the simple facilities were so much more! We booked through the wonderful gonorthcyprus.com. We booked a similar holiday with them last year and were so impressed with their professionalism and customer service. This year we booked with Mandy, who did her very best to get us a good deal.

The best thing about the Onar Holiday Village was our room: it was spacious and comfortable, with all the facilities you'd expect, as well as a balcony with an amazing view overlooking Kyrenia. It made such a difference waking up to a beautiful view, especially in the warm spring sunshine. The room was also kept very clean, with an efficient maid service.

The food at the Onar Holiday Village was modest in variety but everything on offer was tasty and fresh. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and found that it was all we needed to set us up for the day. We ate the rest of our meals in the excellent nearby restaurants. To get to the heart of Kyrenia, it's probably worth getting a taxi or using the hotel's shuttle service. We taxied most of the time because we could pick and choose travelling times and the prices were really reasonable!

Without a doubt we'd visit Kyrenia for a third time and won't hesitate to book a stay at the Onar Holiday Village again. It's great when you find a hotel that you know will offer you exactly what it says it will, plus a bit extra!
