I booked my family's stay at the Onar Holiday Village through Gary at GoNorthCyprus.com who gave us a fantastic deal. The two reasons we picked this holiday village were the reasonable price and location. On both counts we weren't let down but better than that, we found some hidden extras that we weren't expecting!

The hotel's facilities are excellent, with a sizeable indoor pool and gorgeous log fire in the lounge every evening. The staff are also very friendly and helpful- nothing is too much trouble. I loved how homely and welcoming the whole place felt.

The food at the Onar Holiday Village was very good. Everything was fresh and tasty. My wife has some severe food allergies and the staff were very accommodating and understanding when I mentioned it to them.

Our room was really clean and well looked after, with everything you'd want from a hotel room. The bathroom was a little disappointing because it didn't have a separate bath and shower. I much prefer a shower when abroad as it's far more refreshing and less time consuming so I would've easily done away with a bath in favour of a shower unit.

The Onar Holiday Village is fantastically located. It's close to the beautiful mountains, the beaches and the centre of Kyrenia. We used the shuttle bus service into Kyrenia town almost on a daily basis as it was quick and convenient. We did see that the hotel can arrange car hire for their guests but we didn't see the need for this.

Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Onar Holiday Village. It was in a great location and excellent value for money, with its friendly staff being a real highlight.
