Onar Holiday Village Review - 12 of 22 Reviews

We booked a holiday at the Onar Holiday Village for March with GoNorthCyprus after reading the reviews and had a fabulous time. The family who owns the hotel met us shortly after arrival and were so welcoming, there was a lovely friendly atmosphere and the staff take a genuine interest in the guests, which is rare these days. The villa we stayed in was traditional, if a bit dated, in decor and very clean, the food is lovely - local dishes and very tasty with a good selection at dinner time. The views are superb, there are mountains behind the hotel and views for miles around of the town below, it's a very relaxing spot. You can take a taxi to the harbour very cheaply or go on the hotel's shuttle bus, which heads out a couple of times a day. Definitely worth making the trip into Kyrenia as there's lots to explore and some wonderful cafes. We had a really nice time here and would like to return when the pools are open in summer.
