I've just returned from a really reasonable holiday to North Cyprus, staying at the Hotel Sempati. I booked for my husband and I through gonorthcyprus.com, with our only request being that we were close to the sea. Gary at Go North Cyprus got us a really excellent deal at this hotel and we had a wonderful holiday!

Our hotel room at the Sempati was a really good size, with an amazing sea view. This hotel is quite unique because most, if not all, of its rooms have a sea view, due to its unusual layout. The décor in our room was a little dated but the bed linen and towels looked new. Everything was always kept very clean so we can forgive a little tiredness on the furniture.

My husband and I paid for bed and breakfast at the Hotel Sempati so we cannot comment on the evening meals (there were, however, plenty of fantastical traditional restaurants nearby.) We were very impressed with breakfast because they cooked eggs to order and their omelettes were so delicious and fresh. It's all continental style but we prefer that and we had plenty of fresh fruit.

We found the staff at this hotel to be really friendly and helpful. They are also really good at sorting out transport for their guests, whether it be via Dolmus (a very cheap taxi service) or hiring a car for you.

The hotel is in a fantastic location as it's situated right next to the beach. The beautiful town of Kyrenia is only about half an hour away and that is a wonderful place to visit- we found ourselves there a lot! The Sempati also has really good facilities, including a spacious outdoor pool.

If we ever visit North Cyprus again, we will definitely stay at the Hotel Sempati, especially if we get a deal like the one we did this time!
