Hotel Sempati Review - 16 of 30 Reviews

My wife and I visited Hotel Sempati at the end of the summer season last year (2014). I promised I'd take the time to leave a review on behalf of the staff (they deserve it) but never got around to it until now. The first and main thing I'd like to mention is just how helpful the various staff members we encountered over the course of our ten day stay were- from the moment we arrived and our (admittedly overladen) suitcases were handily lugged up to our rooms to the genuine well-wishes on our departure they absolutely could not do enough to help.

As for the other important details: our stay was half-board, so we got plenty of chance to eat at the hotel and compare the standard of dining with the local restaurants. Obviously there was a difference between the offerings from the buffet setting at the hotel and our a la carte experiences elsewhere but we agreed that to have eaten in the hotel for our whole stay would have been no hardship at all. Our rooms were neither huge nor tiny, but were spotlessly clean for our arrival and adequately tended to during the day when we were out. Thankfully, because it was scorching hot, the air conditioning worked perfectly.

It's also very easy to access the more built-up surrounding areas despite what some other reviewers have noted. Minibuses are cheap, and if you're feeling a little more extravagant we found the local taxi drivers to be helpful and knowledgeable when we were stuck for ideas. A+
