When planning our honeymoon we wanted to stay somewhere beautiful, warm and somewhat secluded. The Hotel Sempati was a wonderful choice for us. The views from our room were incredible. The hotel is between the mountains of North Cyprus and the sea. Whenever we took time to look out from our balcony we were impressed. The staff was most helpful and attentive to the needs of a honeymoon couple. The room was clean and spacious; we spent a fair amount of our time at the pool. This is a family run hotel and you can tell that caring for their guests is a priority. This hotel has only 35 rooms so we didn't have a lot of people around which is rather nice when you are on your honeymoon. The restaurant served very good food with very significant portions. If you wanted to get into Girne it was only about a fifteen minute trip. We didn't hire a car as we had no need for one, preferring to spend our days at the poolside. It was the perfect place to spend a honeymoon, and we do recommend it to any and all newlyweds. The price was reasonable for the week that we were there. A great spot for anyone on holiday that enjoys a relaxing, calm atmosphere. We hope to go back for second and third honeymoons. We felt that it was definitely a five star hotel.
