Ada Beach Hotel Review - 10 of 33 Reviews

We stayed at the Ada Hotel recently for several days. Due to the low rate we got on the room, I expected it to be not as nice as some, but I was pleasantly surprised. In the lobby, the floors are marble and there's an impressive-looking staircase and some fabulous artwork on the walls.

Our room was hotel-room standard, but clean and fresh. The bathroom was extra large though, and appeared to be newly redecorated, as it looked ultra modern. We had working air-conditioning (a luxury in some hotels in North Cyprus), so I was happy. The pool was large, with plenty of room and plenty of lounge chairs. The hotel has a small beach area also, with lounge chairs and umbrellas here and there, so you have that option as well as the pool. The staff was friendly, helpful, and appeared to genuinely care whether or not we had a good time. They are really down-to-earth, nice people here.

We spent a little time in the north cyprus town of Kyrenia, and it's a good place for sight-seeing and for trying local cuisine. We didn't care for some of the food, but I'm certainly not complaining, as I'm the tourist here. I dislike when people go to another country and expect the food to be the same as it is back home. With the vast number of restaurants in the harbor area, there are plenty of places to eat and usually you can find a place with food you enjoy. The scenery around this area is absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful mountains and unspoiled coastline. I'd like to come back here again just to take in the wondrous scenery again. If so, I do plan to stay at the Ada Hotel next time also.
