Ada Beach Hotel Review - 1 of 33 Reviews

We've just returned from a week's holiday at the Hotel Ada in Kyrenia. We landed at Ercan airport and took the coach to the hotel which tool around an hour. The trip was nice enough but the journey took us through some not so pleasing looking areas, with an endless stream of litter on the streets and a stray dog or two. There also seemed to be a high number of empty or derelict buildings which didnt give the best impression to tourists at the start of their holiday.

The Ada hotel was about 10 mins outside Kyrenia and is quite isolated with no shops or restaurants within walking distance. The brochure had described it as an "Exclusive Luxury Boutique Hotel" so we were expecting something a little different to your standard hotel chains but the buildiong was an old one which had undergone some srious renovations.

That said, we were very happy with the pool area! With lower seafront bathing area which had an excellent stunning view and a massive amount of space which was great. There is a mixture of timber and plastic sun loungers with towels and cushions provided free of charge which was a nice change from the other places we've visited where there are literally hordes of people fighting for the few that remain. We found it to be a peaceful and relaxing week away and the weather was great too. All of the rooms have balconies with wide spanning sea and coast views.

We found that the hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating most of the time we were there and the service was good too. The main bedroom area was clean and crisp. Not exactly a luxury boutique, but pleasing non less. I'm not sure if i agree that the brochure is very accurate as to the style of the Ada hotel, but it was difficult to find any one particular issue to complain about too much.
