Ada Beach Hotel Review - 8 of 33 Reviews

My friend and I flew to Northern Cyprus and stayed at the Ada Hotel recently for two nights and I have to admit, I was pretty impressed. Not only with the hotel, but with the beauty of the surrounding countryside. The mountains are truly spectacular and the hillside is covered in forestland. The foliage is lush and green. It's quite impressive. I couldn't stop admiring the view. The shoreline is pretty too, and just as impressive as the rest of the view, with pretty beaches and tropical foliage.

The little north cyprus harbour town of Kyrenia is very quaint, with cute little bars and outdoor cafes. We enjoyed strolling around, soaking up the local culture and admiring the many shops. We stopped to eat at one outdoor café. My friend made the mistake of ordering chicken salad and received the wrong parts of the chicken, if you know what I mean. In other words, apparently they eat ALL parts of the chicken in Kyrenia. My friend fed her chicken to a stray cat and ordered something else. I'd ordered a kebab and it was delicious. The trick, obviously, is in knowing what to order.

The Ada Hotel, where we stayed, has recently been remodeled and enlarged, and boasts white walls, marble floors, iron staircase railings, and beautiful artwork on the walls. I found it to be quite impressive and very nice, especially considering the price, which was reasonable. Our room was standard, nothing fancy, but was clean and comfortable and everything worked like it was supposed to. We had air conditioning also, and the bathroom had a luxurious 'marble look' to it. We particularly liked the close proximity to town and to a couple of nearby restaurants, namely the “Stone Grill” and “The Ship”, both of which are good places to eat. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone wanting a nice hotel with an excellent view and in a good location. I hope to come back to north cyprus again.
