This is a hotel review for Ada Beach Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus
“Stay at the Ada Hotel”
My husband and I had been staying in the south of the island and we decided to see what the northern Turkish side was like. It's more historic on this side and greener too which we really enjoyed. The consensus is that this is the best part of the island following the spoils of battle from the Turkish invasion in 1974. My hubby enjoys histroy so it suited him to a tee! The forest strewn slopes to the shore and the surrounding mountains are very impressive and picturesque. The Troodos Mountains are higher but these mountains are extremely steep.
We enjoyed relaxing in the bars and cafes in the harbour area of Kyrenia. It's gorgeous here and you can eat outside at covered tables at a wide range of places, you really are spoiled for choice. My companion was not impressed with his chicken salad but I thoroughly enjoyed my kebab and meze. I believe the hotel has undergone a refurbishment and expansion and it looked good for it. We loved the marble floors, the handrails on the staircase, the bright white walls, and the large artwork, which all added to the feel of the place. £54 each night strikes us as a good price for a Double Room with Breakfast and we are already talking about coming back next year.
Liked — Surroundings and the interior of the hotel
Disliked — a little bit of litter
