“Ada Review”
We'd never been to Turkey before and we were very impressed. We liked the hotel and it has superb amenities. You can even watch a film in the hotel cinema, which has a bar. It's only a few minutes walk from the town and we never felt threatened. The décor and design are tastefully done and we particularly liked the pool area and the dining room. If you're used to something more pretentious, then you won't get that here. The Turkish style architecture and interior was to our tastes and it was obvious that a lot of money had been spent on all the traditional fittings and fixtures.
The restaurant food in the hotel was really good and they certainly filled us up at breakfast. All the hotel staff were very approachable and eager to please. There is a beach club run by the hotel partnered with one of the local coastal bars and you can get food during the day there. You can eat at night too when it's more of a restaurant. You can chill on loungers on the sun deck.
On the beach itself, we could use the loungers provided. There was no fee as such but you're expected to order a meal or a drink from the bar or restaurant in the vicinity.
We'd heard reports of noisy dogs but the air conditioning system drowned out any noise there might have been so we didn't notice anything. It was fine and we had a good night's sleep.
We had a terrific time and we found the Ada Hotel to be an oasis of relaxation and quiet. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Liked — tranquil and quiet
Disliked — quite busy due to season
