Ada Beach Hotel Review - 21 of 33 Reviews

There's nothing worse that reading a load of bad reviews just after you've booked your holiday! I even contacted Go North Cyprus to see about cancelling but the lovely lady I spoke to reassured me that she had been to the Ada Beach herself and didn't understand the negative reviews. I decided to bite the bullet and go as planned.

Light was limited so I would recommend taking a torch if you are arriving at night. The hotel looked in darkness but works on sensory lighting during the night. We were soon in and up to our room which looked nice but we really just wanted to sleep.

The next morning we awoke refreshed and our room was lovely.

Although I had requested a balcony we weren't lucky enough to get one, I guess booking well in advance is the key to that one. We had a table and chairs in front of a huge window with pool and sea views and when they were wide open it was the next best thing.

There was something for everybody at breakfast, but being a creature of habit I stuck to my favourite jam and toast. The evening meals were always excellent. Different soups were on offer as a started, there was a choice of at least 2 main dishes every day accompanied by chips, rice or pasta, plenty of salads and delicious desserts. After trying the lunch on our first day we ate this most days and the prices were very reasonable.

If you walk back up the hill from the Ada Beach a bus takes you from there to Kyrenia harbour. This is a lovely place to visit and we took a ridiculous amount of pictures, like you do! The weather was wonderful when we there and spent some lovely days on the beach when there was hardly anyone there.

One thing that I didn't see mentioned anywhere was the army monument at the top of the hill. This is fascinating and tells the history of Cyprus on it. We had a great time at the Ada Beach and I'm so glad I listened to the lady from Go North Cyprus rather than took notice of the reviews. I've noticed bad reviews from the time we were there and don't understand what these people are complaining about. We would definitely return to this hotel.
