Our experience at TOPSET HOTEL was anything but good. The old road leading down to the hotel had us a little worried on arrival, thinking -have we come to the right place? given the lovely pictures on their website. On arrival we had a glitch with our room which was then sorted out. Rooms not as great as the images on their web page- rather standard. But we thought what the heck we are only hear for a week lets just try to have an enjoyable stay. We unfortuneately we were in for a SHOCK!! The owner of Topset hotel was very GREEDY, trying to charge us for services and amenities we didnt use. The restaurant of the hotel was far too over priced, as you can get a better more quality meal at various restaurants around town for a much cheaper price. The exchange rates at the hotel are about 20% less than that offered by exchange bureas too. SO my advice to all save hard earned savings and take your business elsewhere. The owner and his staff will try to rip you off, over charge you or try to make you pay for services not used just to make a quick quid as business is down. It is only after my own personal encounter I have now heard about and read many other reviews by guests who have had the same experiences at TOP SET hotel.

Although North Cyprus is a wonderful holiday destination, with many great places to see and visit. TOP SET HOTEL is NOT. I have stayed at many other wonderful establishments over the years in NORTH CYPRUS but choosing TOPSET HOTEL was a mistake. I will return to the country but will NOT stay their again.
