Hotel Club Z Review - 1 of 21 Reviews

Hotel Club Z should be really nice. Its a quick walk into Kyrenia, its got nice gardens, an indoor pool, a steam room, and part of the hotel is an historic building. There are some good restaurants within striking distance, and our villa had a kitchen area with enough pans, cutlery and plates to make a meal (just).

The problem was that the villa needed an overhaul. The carpet was dirty, the rooms smelt musty and not well looked after, and the bathroom taps leaked. Admittedly these were fixed when we asked, but I think the staff wait for complaints then fix things, rather than be pro-active.

Breakfast was continental type and the same every day, so we often went into Kyrenia for breakfast at a harbourside café instead - better coffee too!

If it were smartened up inside, so it matched the nice outside, the Club Z could be really nice. As it is, its OK so long as you are not phobic about dirt.
