“The Hotel Club Z- everything you'd expect at a really reasonable price.”

I've just come back from my first holiday abroad with my girlfriend and stayed at the Hotel Club Z. We're both students so are on a very tight budget but we were really pleased when Gary found this holiday for us. The only expectations we had were that we were hoping for somewhere clean to stay and plenty of fun from our holiday. I can definitely say we got both!

Hotel Club Z is a comfortable and simple hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and contain everything you need for a holiday where you are not catering for yourself. The staff were really friendly and attentive and definitely do their best to make your stay welcome and comfortable.

We were impressed that the hotel had a spa area, albeit small, and on almost every occasion, it was near enough empty which made it really relaxing.

The hotel is situated in beautiful gardens- something that really impressed my girlfriend. It is also quite close to the nearest town- Kyrenia. My girlfriend and I just loved Kyrenia. It was buzzing with life and had plenty of bars and restaurants. However, it's by no means a tacky tourist spot. Everything is done with a traditional twist and locals seem to be just as happy to frequent the bars and cafes as tourists.

The only thing I could criticise the Club Z for is its food. It was basic to the extreme and although we only had breakfast there (as we couldn't resist the food that Kyrenia had to offer), we didn't really feel like breakfast set us up for the day ahead. In all honesty, it isn't really fair to complain because we paid such a good price for our stay and it is a relatively small hotel so I'm guessing that off-peak, they can't order in masses of food.

We will definitely be returning to Kyrenia and would be happy to stay at Hotel Club Z again although are hoping that we might have the funds to stay somewhere a little more up-market next time.
