Hotel Club Z Review - 12 of 21 Reviews

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Club Z for a couple of weeks when we visited Northern Cyprus for a break. For the most part, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel facilities adequate and the staff helpful and hard-working. However, there is one major complaint I can't overlook and that is that the furniture and carpets in our villa were not really clean. I realize this is mainly due to the fact that the furniture is old; still at some point, if deep cleaning fails to accomplish the task of cleanliness, it's time to throw out the old stuff and get something new in. Our carpet was stained and dirty, as was the furniture. Also the furniture was obviously well-worn and really should have been replaced already.

Other than that, we found nothing else to complain about. All the facilities worked well in our villa, including the shower and toilet. There was plenty of hot water, the fridge and burners worked well, and everything in the kitchen area was clean. Also our bedding was clean and there were plenty of linens and towels. Towels were replenished daily and the staff kept our villa tidy.

We had plenty of shade for most of the day and often ate our meals outside. The verandah was perfect for breakfasts. We also had a balcony with a nice view of the pool area. Speaking of the pool, it appeared to be well-maintained. We walked around the pool area some but didn't really spend much time there; however it looked pristine and clear.

We appreciated the location of this hotel and thought it was situated in a perfect area for sightseeing. We enjoy walking and this hotel is only about a 10 minute walk from Kyrenia, which made it ideal for us. We also found several restaurants and a supermarket within a five-minute walk in the opposite direction, so definitely we had adequate places for eating and drinking.

We probably will stay here again sometime, but would like to recommend that they replace some of the older and shabbier furniture, and perhaps deep clean the carpets. Im sure we'll be back to North Cyprus in the next few years.
