Hotel Club Z is definitely one of the more attractive prospects if you're looking for a holiday destination in Northern Cyprus. Parts of the building itself are restored from an old workhouse in the Mediterranean style, and the entire complex is surrounded by some beautiful flora that will no doubt interest the botanists among you- banana, walnut, almond and olive trees can all be found just outside the hotel.

The health suite was amongst the finest we've seen available at a Cyprus hotel, and provides a top spec. Jacuzzi, sauna, spa and swimming pool for anyone looking to be pampered during their time abroad. Food is available n the form of a wide range of European Cuisine along with masses of fresh local fruit for when you want to eat light. The poolside bar serves a variety of drinks and snacks throughout the day in case you get peckish between meal times.

The complex is situated a very short walk from the local yacht harbour and a grand Byzantine castle, so you're unlikely to want for scenery and we spent many hours simply strolling around. The Five Finger mountains can be viewed from nearby. The high street is also better equipped than those of competitor hotels, which is important for anyone who wants to shop.

Three types of accommodation are available; the first type has a bathtub and a balcony, the second has a shower room and balcony or terrace, and the third is a bungalow to house 4-6 people. All suites provide portable televisions, air conditioning and a mini-bar. All in all we had a great stay here and will be recommending it to all our friends.
