Lapida Garden Hotel Review - 5 of 21 Reviews
This is a hotel review for Lapida Garden Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus
“The Lapida Garden Hotel was a jewel amongst larger hotels.”
I only booked to stay at the Lapida Garden Hotel because I wanted to visit North Cyprus last minute and there wasn't much availability left. I chose this hotel because Mandy at GoNorthCyprus said it was a small, family run hotel and that appealed to me. I am so happy I booked the Lapida because it was a lovely little haven, in beautiful surroundings.
The accommodation at the Lapida Garden Hotel was quite basic, with simple décor and furnishings. The bathroom could have done with modernising but everything in the room and bathroom was very clean and well kept.
There were two things that made my stay at the Lapida Hotel special and those were firstly its glorious gardens which have been immaculately kept by the owner. It was so nice to sit in the sunshine, surrounded by wonderful smells, with a backdrop of the five finger mountains.
The second special element of the hotel was its wonderful, friendly staff, in particular the owner Fethi. He is so dedicated to his hotel that he runs his own site seeing tours with the hotel minibus and gives excellent first hand knowledge of the area and its history.
I only stayed at the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis as I'm keen to spend most of my time exploring but the breakfast was well made and fresh.
My stay at the Lapida Garden Hotel was everything I could have wanted. I've found a little jewel of a place, with wonderful hospitality, that I am keen to return to. It was also an excellent deal!
