“This hotel had more character than some cities I've visited!”

I can quite honestly say that I have just returned from the best holiday I've ever had and so much of that is due to the wonderful hotel we stayed in! My husband and I booked a mini break away for our 10th anniversary and chose the Kyrenia Palace Boutique Hotel as it sounded quirky and different. I thought at the time that we might have been taking a gamble because different doesn't always mean good, but in this instance the gamble massively paid off! We have gonorthcyprus.com to thank for this as they were the ones who mentioned the Kyrenia Palace to us in the first place.

The Kyrenia Palace Boutique Hotel is very small and when we arrived we were given a choice of two rooms: each was beautifully decorated with carefully selected antique furniture which gave the room the feel of an old, but very plush palace. It was so refreshing to have a king sized bed and a bathroom which you could actually walk around in!

It wasn't just the rooms that impressed us when staying at the Kyrenia Palace Boutique Hotel; the location is absolutely ideal! It's situated in the heart of the old Kyrenia harbour which is a sight of beauty, as well as being incredibly peaceful. We did, at times, hear the call to prayer from the local mosque, which to some might be off-putting, but to us it only added to the charm of the area. It's so nice to stay somewhere where the locals spend their time, rather than staying on a hotel complex full of tourists.

The small group of staff at the Kyrenia Palace were so helpful and accommodating. They seemed genuinely interested in speaking to us and finding out where we'd come from. They were also great at recommending places to visit.

I would jump at the chance to stay at the Kyrenia Palace Boutique Hotel again and would recommend it to any adults looking for a piece of local history and charm.
