Kyrenia Palace Boutique Hotel Review - 1 of 13 Reviews

I've just returned from Kyrenia with my husband after he booked a surprise holiday for my birthday. I can honestly say that I have never stayed anywhere with more character and good feeling than the Kyrenia Palace Boutique. For most package holidays, a hotel is a clean and comfortable place to sleep after spending busy days enjoying the area. The Kyrenia Palace was so much more than this. It made up as much of the holiday as beautiful Kyrenia harbour itself. I asked my husband where he found this gem of a hotel and he said that he had a lot of advice from Sue at www.gonorthcyprus.com Apparently she asked him what he was looking for and took lots of time to explain what different hotels had to offer. My husband chose the Kyrenia Palace because of its location in the middle of the harbour side.

It's hard to explain what sets the Kyrenia Palace Boutique apart from other hotels as there's so much. What really impressed me was the fact that the owners had taken time to theme each room in keeping with the old Ottoman style. Our room felt a bit like we were in a sultan's palace, with amazing attention to detail. It was also kept spotlessly clean. The bathroom was a little small but this wasn't a big deal.

My other favourite element of the Kyrenia Palace is the breakfast served in the hotel's beautiful courtyard. We weren't ushered into a stuffy air conditioned dinner hall but instead led to a peaceful garden area to enjoy our breakfast experience.

I can honestly say that we will definitely be returning to the Kyrenia Palace Boutique. It was beautifully unique with helpful and friendly staff and the location couldn't have been more perfect!
