“Lovely boutique hotel behind the harbour”
We stayed at the Kyrenia Palace Hotel for three nights in June having noted how lovely it looked - retaining the character of this old building with style and quirkiness. Positioned just 126 steps from the harbour it sits in a back street next to the town's main mosque which adds to its character. The place is full of interesting furniture and artefacts in keeping with the building. Rooms are full of character, many with balconies. Beds were comfortable and there's tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was lovely, freshly prepared Turkish fare like olives, haloumi, breads, omlettes, fresh fruit juices, and taken in the tranquil courtyard. Staff were friendly and helpful, but it is the character of this lovely hotel that sets it apart.
